Cold Showers and fear
I have been consistent with the cold showers and it is a reminder that when we “feel” like not doing something because it is uncomfortable and scary, we tend to not do it (in life). The choices I have made, have been based out of fear and being uncomfortable. You are right @Francisco Ortega I have stayed in my relationships longer than I needed to because out of fear. I have often not spoken out or said certain things because of fear. I have allowed fear to lead me for so long! I am not doing that anymore, it stops here. 💪🏽🙏🏽

Grateful and God’s timing
Thank you for starting this community again and doing what you do best! @Frank Ortega in just the 3 weeks I have been consistently on the calls with you I have so much hope for the future ahead of me. I know there are things I still have to work on but my Mindset and mood has started to finally shift after a year of being on a hampster wheel entertaining thoughts and beliefs that did not serve me and continued to cripple me! You truly have a gift and a calling for this! 🙏🏽

Marriage Checklist
Ephesians 5:25-27 tells husbands to "love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her..."And Ephesians 5:22-24 instructs wives to "submit to your own husbands as to the Lord." So if marriage is a reflection of Christ and the church: 🔥 HUSBAND'S CHECKLIST: (Love her like Christ loves the church) 1. Stay on Mission (John 6:38)Jesus never wavered from the Father’s mission.✅ Keep pursuing God's call — your wife is blessed when you obey God, not when you revolve around her emotions. 2. Lead with Vision (Matthew 4:19)Jesus constantly cast vision.✅ Speak life over your home and remind your family of who they are and where you're going. 3. Sacrificial Love (John 15:13)He laid down his life — not by abandoning his mission, but by enduring pain for the church’s benefit.✅ Protect her emotionally, spiritually, and physically — not by pleasing her, but by leading her. 4. Cleansing Through the Word (Ephesians 5:26)He washes her with the Word.✅ Pray over her. Read Scripture to her. Intercede for her. Speak God's truth, even when it’s uncomfortable. 5. Emotional Stability (Hebrews 13:8)Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever.✅ Be her anchor — don’t let moods, stress, or pressure cause instability in how you love or lead. 6. Serve with Authority (John 13:12–15)He washed their feet, but He never lost authority.✅ Serve her humbly — but don’t surrender your God-given leadership to avoid conflict. 7. Honor Her Beauty and Purpose (1 Peter 3:7)He delights in His bride.✅ Call out her strengths. Celebrate her. See her as God's daughter, not your employee or burden. 🔥 WIFE'S CHECKLIST: (Respond to him like the church responds to Christ) 1. Submit to His Leadership (Ephesians 5:22-24)The church follows Christ’s lead.✅ Trust his direction. Even when you disagree, let him lead and take responsibility before God. 2. Respect His Role (Ephesians 5:33)Respect is oxygen to a man’s soul.✅ Avoid nagging. Build him up with words of honor. Don’t compete — complete. 3. Support His Mission (Luke 8:1-3)Jesus was surrounded by women who supported the mission.✅ Be his biggest encourager, not his biggest critic. Add to the momentum — don’t slow it down. 4. Respond with Gratitude and Faith (Psalm 100:4)The church enters His presence with thanksgiving.✅ Celebrate his effort, not just his outcomes. Joyfully partner with his vision. 5. Create an Atmosphere of Honor (Proverbs 14:1)The wise woman builds her house.✅ Set the tone with peace, prayer, and praise — not control or passive aggression. 6. Spiritual Partnership (Acts 2:1)The early church was in one accord with Christ.✅ Pray together, fast together, and help steward the spiritual temperature of the home. 7. Submission is Strength, Not Weakness (1 Peter 3:1-6)Sarah honored Abraham even when she didn’t fully understand.✅ It takes strength to follow with trust. God honors a submitted heart with supernatural peace and favor.
