Yes. Plain Water. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Okay I know. I KNOW. You came here for a smoothie recipe and I'm about to talk to you about water. Just hear me out ๐Ÿซ  Here's the thing โ€” most of us are walking around chronically dehydrated and we don't even know it. Tired? Probably dehydrated. Headache? Dehydrated. Hungry when you just ate? Might actually be thirsty. Brain fog? You guessed it. ๐Ÿ’ง Your body is roughly 60% water. Your brain is 73% water. Your blood is 90% water. And most of us are out here running on coffee and vibes wondering why we feel terrible. ๐Ÿ˜‚ ๐Ÿ’ง What water actually does for you: ๐ŸŒฟ Flushes out toxins your body worked all night to process ๐ŸŒฟ Keeps your digestion moving โ€” especially important on a high fiber plant-based diet ๐ŸŒฟ Delivers nutrients to your cells ๐ŸŒฟ Keeps your skin glowing ๐ŸŒฟ Regulates your body temperature ๐ŸŒฟ Lubricates your joints ๐ŸŒฟ Literally keeps you alive โ€” which is nice ๐Ÿ˜‚ ๐ŸŒ… First thing in the morning matters most. Before your coffee. Before your smoothie. Before anything. Drink water. Your body just went 8 hours without it and your cells are thirsty. A big glass of water first thing wakes your digestive system up, jumpstarts your metabolism, and honestly just makes everything work better all day. ๐ŸŒฟ I personally start with plain water and then watermelon juice every single morning before anything else hits my stomach. It's a non negotiable now. ๐Ÿ’งNot a fan of plain water? Add some lemon, berries, SMALL pinch of salt for electrolytes, or cucumber! I'm so sad today. I lost my sidekick Mr. Patters last night. 6 years I was his human. Yesterday was a rough day. I spent the day just chilling with him. Loving him. Petting and rubbing him for hours. I apologized for all the times I pushed him down because I wasn't in the mood. All the different emotions. Man, death is wack. Animal loss is tough because they love us unconditionally. I'm gratfeul it happened quickly and he didn't suffer. Somedays life just isn't fair. I'm bouncing off my phone for a couple days ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿป
