🌈 Chakra Check-In & Rebalancing Guides 🌈
Greetings and Blessings, my friends!🤗 I finally finished a project that I've been chipping away at for several years. I've created two companion guides for exploring the energetic state of your chakras: the Chakra Check-In & Diagnostic Guide and the Chakra Rebalancing Guide. Together, they provide a framework for observing your chakras, understanding what you're experiencing, and consciously tending to areas that may benefit from additional attention. 🔍 Chakra Check-In & Diagnostic Guide The Chakra Check-In & Diagnostic Guide is the starting point. It walks you through a structured process for observing each of the seven chakras and identifying its current energetic state. Rather than relying solely on general feelings or symptoms, the system gives you four specific qualities to observe: Spin, Momentum, Intensity, and Saturation. Each axis has its own set of possible modes, allowing you to build a more nuanced picture of what a chakra is doing at a particular moment. The guide includes the framework, definitions, diagnostic process, and reference material you'll need to perform a complete Chakra Check-In. 🌿 Chakra Rebalancing Guide The Chakra Rebalancing Guide is the companion to the diagnostic process. Once you've identified a chakra's current state, this guide provides suggestions for consciously tending to the areas that may be operating outside their most optimal flow. Rather than attempting to address every possible combination of diagnostic results individually, the guide focuses on the six unoptimized modes identified by the system and adapts each one to the seven individual chakras. That creates 42 chakra-specific rebalancing adaptations, giving you a substantial range of practices without making the system unnecessarily complicated. The guide is intended as a reference resource, rather than a worksheet. You can explore the suggestions, choose what feels appropriate, and keep any personal observations or notes wherever you normally journal. 🧭 Using the Guides Together

Something In The Shade
I'll tell you all a secret That I feel in my bones: I think my Shadow's moving, And acting on its own. I see it shifting sometimes Just outside my view, But when I turn to see it, It's still, and never moves. It follows me around, Not like a shadow should; As if it's keeping step with me - I'd catch it if I could. Sometimes, I swear it's smiling— Though shadows cannot smile. Sometimes, it'll stop somewhere, And linger for a while. I've tried to make it mimic me, But it refused to play. I raise my arms, it folds its own; I turn, it looks away. I stomp my feet; it skips along. I wave; it bows its head. I stand completely still - It takes another step instead. I asked it once, quite quietly, "Just what are you about?" It seemed to shrug its shoulders, Then it simply faded out. But when I started walking, There it was again, A little farther off than me, Around the corner then. I've tried to catch it many times, But shadows are too quick. They slip beneath the furniture And hide behind a brick. And lately I've begun to think It does this just for fun. It waits until I'm looking close, Then darts away and runs. I'm not afraid, exactly. It's simply rather odd To see a shaded form Wear its own facade. I wonder if it knows me, Or if it thinks I'm strange. I wonder if it wonders why I never seem to change. Yesterday, at sunset, The whole world turned to gold - My Shadow stepped in front of me, Did something rather bold. It turned around and faced me - At least, that's how it seemed. Then threw its arms out wide and bowed, Like something I had dreamed. I laughed, and it laughed with me, Though shadows cannot laugh. And when I started walking home, It followed down my path. Perhaps I've got a Shadow That's more alive than most; Maybe it's more vivacious Than I am as the host. If it's found vigor of its own, I suppose that's quite alright. Perhaps I'll follow it tomorrow, See where it goes at night. So now, I let it wander, And give it room to roam. For if my Shadow's found a life,

Lion's Gate Portal
🦁 The Lion's Gate: Entering the Current There are certain moments in the year that seem to gather a particular kind of momentum around them. The Lion's Gate Portal, traditionally associated with the period surrounding August 8, is one of them. At its heart, the Lion's Gate brings together several powerful streams of symbolism: the Sun in Leo, the rising of Sirius, the radiance of the solar principle, and the image of the Lion itself. Together, they form a potent energetic landscape concerned with illumination, sovereignty, courage, purpose, creation, and the willingness to let what lives within us become visible in the world. The Lion's Gate is often described as a portal of manifestation, but I think there is something deeper happening beneath that familiar language. This isn't simply about calling something toward us. It is about becoming capable of meeting what we have called forth. ☀️ The Sun in Leo The Sun is, quite literally, at home in Leo. Astrologically, Leo is ruled by the Sun, making this season particularly resonant with solar themes: vitality, creativity, self-expression, confidence, courage, warmth, and the generative force of the heart. Leo asks us to inhabit our own radiance. Not perform it. Not prove it. Not compare it to anyone else's. Simply to let ourselves become visible. There is something deeply sovereign in that. The Lion does not need permission to be a lion. Its power comes partly from its willingness to occupy its own nature fully. The Lion's Gate therefore offers an invitation toward authentic embodiment: What within you is ready to stop remaining potential and become lived reality? ⭐ Sirius: The Guiding Star The other great figure in the Lion's Gate symbolism is Sirius, the brightest star in our night sky. Its annual reappearance in the morning sky was of profound significance to ancient Egyptians, coinciding with the seasonal flooding of the Nile and the renewal of the land. Sirius therefore became associated with cycles of renewal, fertility, rebirth, and the return of life-giving waters.

I decided to walk through my own Lion's Gate Spread, and I'm struck by how much it reflects where I find myself right now. The Call — Wheel of Fortune The Wheel feels like an acknowledgment that things are moving. When I look back to February, I remember the feeling of a direction becoming impossible to ignore. Since then, so much has begun organizing itself around that initial movement. I don't think I'm being called to find the next thing. I'm being called to recognize that I'm already on the wheel. The Heart of the Lion — King of Wands This feels like the part of me that is ready to stop treating my own fire as provisional. I've spent this year discovering what I can create, teach, and build. Now I'm learning to stand behind my own vision without diminishing it first. The Gatekeeper — The Devil This one feels especially significant because of how I read The Devil. I don't see an outside force standing at my gate. I see the places where I might still convince myself that the gate is locked—where circumstances, expectations, uncertainty, or old perceptions seem to possess more authority than my own choice. The liberation isn't in defeating something. It's in recognizing where I've given my power away and taking it back. The Current — Temperance Temperance tells me that the momentum carrying me forward isn't necessarily speed. It's integration. The different pieces of my life—teaching, writing, community, spiritual practice, and the work I'm building—are beginning to feel less like separate currents and more like one river. I don't have to force the river to move. I need to stop creating unnecessary dams. The Crossing — 7 of Cups There is certainly no shortage of possibilities before me. If anything, possibility has become both an abundance and a distraction. This card asks me to discern between what captures my imagination and what actually calls for my participation. I can let the cups remain full without drinking from all of them. The Horizon — 9 of Cups
Community Connect
Just a little reminder that the Community Connect meeting is in about 40 minutes. We'll be doing a manifestation/blessing ceremony. What is it you're calling forth? Or, what have you called forth that you wish to fully embody? Bring your intentions, as well as: 🕯️ A candle — yellow or white if you have one, though any candle will work. 🌿 Paper and a writing utensil — or, if you'd like to work with the traditional symbolism of the bay leaf, a large bay leaf can be used in place of paper. 💎 Crystals — Sunstone, Citrine, Yellow Topaz, Pyrite, or anything else that feels aligned for you. 🧿 Optional: A talisman to bless — something small that you can hold as a physical anchor for whatever you're calling forth. Let's make some magic! ✨
