💙 Why did you start your business?
Long before the first sale... Before the website... Before the product... There was a reason. Maybe you wanted more time with your family. Maybe you were ready to leave a job that no longer fit. Maybe you wanted the freedom to travel, create, or choose how you spend your days. Maybe you wanted to prove to yourself that you could build something of your own. Maybe you wanted to make a difference. Maybe you wanted financial freedom. Or maybe you simply wanted a life that felt more like you. When business gets hard, it's rarely our strategy that keeps us going. It's our reason. I'd love to hear yours. Why did you decide to start your business? Share your story in the comments. You never know who needs to hear it today, or who might realize they're not alone on the journey. 💛

I started because I was a single parent with 2 boys and I needed to have flexability in my time so that I could be there for them to drive and pick up from school, be home for homework and all the things they needed.

Let’s help each other discover amazing communities! Drop: 🏡 Your own Skool community (if you have one) and/or ⭐ One of your favorite Skool communities that you’re a member of (affiliate links are fine) Include the links and tell us in a sentence or two: • What your community is about (and/or why you love the one you’re recommending) • Who it’s for • What makes it special Then spend a few minutes checking out the communities others share. Join the ones that resonate with you, introduce yourself, and support fellow creators. You never know which connection, collaboration, or opportunity is waiting inside a community you haven’t discovered yet. Let’s help great communities grow together! 👇 DROP YOUR SKOOLS BELOW! 🔥🙌

Thank you so much @Sybil Hall . 🏡 Living Oracle A free community for people who want to practice returning to themselves again and again. Together we explore Human Design, Gene Keys, astrology, and symbolic reflection through weekly Pattern Play, reflective practices, and meaningful conversations. This isn't a place to collect more information. It's a place to recognize your patterns, reconnect with your inner knowing, and discover what becomes possible when self-recognition becomes a practice rather than a destination. The doors open July 14. If you'd love to help shape a community rooted in curiosity, reflection, and genuine connection from day one, I'd love to welcome you here...

@Donna Thornton I feel like Human Design can be a tool that we get to go back to time and time again because as we uncover layers we look at things with a different perspective.
Let’s Talk Money: Business HYSAs 💰
One thing I like to do is keep my personal and business finances intentionally separate. My $10,000 Kiva 0% interest business loan will be deposited into a business high yield savings account (HYSA) until I need it. That way it can earn a little interest while I spend it thoughtfully over time. I also like having it separate because it makes it much easier to: - Track exactly how the loan money is being used. - Monitor my business spending. - Stay organized with repayments over the next three years. - Keep clean records for my business. It’s a simple system, but simple systems are often the easiest to stick with. When I’m researching financial products, NerdWallet is one of my favorite places to start because they do a great job comparing options and explaining the pros and cons. https://www.nerdwallet.com/business/banking/best/business-savings-accounts I genuinely enjoy talking about money, both personal and business. I’ve spent many years learning about budgeting, investing, debt, cash flow, and building multiple income streams, and I’m always happy to share what I’ve learned. What money questions do you have? Drop them in the comments and let’s learn together. PS- tomorrow we review June’s biz finances together! The Zoom link and the time are in the calendar tab! Join us for this coworking session!

This is one area that I am trying not to avoid anymore.
🏕️ Who loves to camp?
What do you love most about it? Is it the quiet mornings with coffee outside? The campfire conversations? Sleeping under the stars? Exploring new trails? Cooking outdoors? Or just unplugging from everyday life? I’d love to hear what keeps you coming back to camping. ⛺💚 Bonus points for pictures!

Glamping for me for sure. Much of my childhood I felt we camped. We went without a lot..I would say off gtid with none of the comforts. So, when I camp I like a little pull along RV. I would say I love the morning cofee in the silence.
Skool Owners: A Few Useful Updates This Week 👀
I spent some time reviewing this week's Skool News and wanted to share it with you. 🎥 Weekly Skool News https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TrJGhz51A3Q 📋 Kirby's NOMAD Framework https://www.skool.com/skoolers/kirbys-nomad-framework-deserves-its-own-post 🎨 Free Canva Cover Templates https://www.canva.com/design/DAHNaCVBYk4/XODMlg9YhGzqr9v3jpn8qg/view?utm_content=DAHNaCVBYk4&utm_campaign=designshare&utm_medium=link&utm_source=publishsharelink&mode=preview The biggest message? 👉 Growth Boost is still being optimized. Some communities are seeing great results already. Others aren't seeing much yet. The Skool team said they're still testing and improving the system before turning up the volume. But here's what caught my attention... They said the biggest thing community owners can do right now is improve their packaging. That includes: ✅ Cover image ✅ Group card ✅ Group description ✅ About page They also highlighted Kirby's NOMAD Framework for improving your About page: Niche Outcome Mechanism Authority & Proof Deliverables Which really boils down to: Who is this for? What result will they get? How will you help them get there? Why should they trust you? What exactly do they receive? Honestly, this applies to far more than Skool communities. It applies to: Websites Sales pages Books Coaching offers Content Even AI visibility The clearer you are, the easier it is for both people and algorithms to understand what you do. 💛 If you own a Skool community, what's one thing you've improved recently? And if you'd like feedback on your community packaging, drop your link below, and we can roast your About Page! 👇
