The First Meetup of Skool IRL: Barcelona was a big success!
We met today at the Buenas Migas on Parallel. It started off with just two of us, but soon it expanded so that there were 5 of us. We spent a good deal of time getting to know each other, our skool’s(or wannabe skools). The topics wandered a lot: Some of the topics and interests we talked about: The magic of the flea circus Pinterest and becoming an affiliate for them. Using AI to automate Pinterest affiliate items. Hypnosis versus guided self-meditation Creating your About Page Going full time on Skool. Having a roadmap for your skoolers/community. How easy it is to decide what others should do, but harder to decide what you should do. And that was just some of the topics! We each agreed on some goals to accomplish by the time we meet again in February. For some it was starting up a Skool community, for others it was getting more engagement or more business. For me, I want to put up a couple of classes/classrooms that my community does to currently have. Left to right in the photo: @Amaya Moro @Jonas Alfonso Victoria (not currently on Skool) @Asha Hope , and me @Adam Gertsacov

Hey Skool fam!
I moved to Barcelona 10 years ago, seeking sun and light after living in Scotland for quite a while. Here in Skool to meet like minded people and to have my own community at some point. Looking forward to meet you all guys in person.

Tourist Places?
Currently sitting at Las Ramblas waiting for a friend and it got me thinking... As someone who grew up in Barcelona but spent 13 years away, I'm curious how you all feel about the classic tourist spots here. Do you ever actually hang out at places like Las Ramblas, Park Güell, sagrada famlia or the Gothic Quarter with friends? Or are they just "tourist zones" you actively avoid? I'm in this weird middle ground where I'm technically local again but also seeing the city with fresh eyes. Some of these spots hit different when you're not rushing through them with a camera. What do you think? Are there any "tourist traps" that you think are actually worth it? Or since youve lived here so long you know some nice spots I wanna know what the new people think!!! @Igna Ceo @Eloi Jg @Roger Carreras @John Betts @Adam Gertsacov @Jordi Oller @Xavi Cabrera

The free museum Palau Robert always has free and interesting exhibits, although rarely in English. They’ve got something now through the middle of February about 100 years of the subway in Barcelona. https://palaurobert.gencat.cat/ca/exposicions/sala3/2025/t-100-cent-anys-de-metro/

I have more recommendations too. But don’t want to flood the feed. Ask me when we meet up for a drink!
