Freedom in faith steps
I am beyond excited to share with ya'll this morning🎉💯 As I step forward in faith instead of being stuck in my own doubts and fears(lies), doors are already being opened🙏🙏🎉🎉 Today & tomorrow, I will be attending a Women's Expo in West Virginia. I'll be taking my business to the people, making connections and gleening as much information as I can. AI has helped me fine tune my thoughts and helped me design a handout for sharing my mission. Ultimately, the backbone of my ministry will be cooking with people. After some spitballing ideas of what would work well as a handout, AI suggested using a recipe card style... to be honest, my mind exploded a little!!😂😂 I took the idea and ran with it. The words are mine but with refinement and the photo is mine as well... pic is front side. Heading for the library in just a little bit to print out a bunch of these. And taking a notebook for connections and info gathering. Can't wait to share how this weekend goes!!!🎉🎉 God is so good!!!!💯🙏💯🥰

I'll be honest, it was not all that I expected. But I'm not sure what I expected exactly, either. That said, I was inspired, for sure and encouraged by those that I had a chance to have full conversations with. So, here's the thing. I could (and my mind tried to...) have fallen into the "imposter syndrome" trap. BUT God. I am at a point in my life that I watch so much for the little things. For the God "winks" of confirmation. When I was a Senior in High School, my mom said "Sarah, what are you going to do with your life?" I responded, "Mom, I just want to make people smile. If I could find one person every day that looked like they were hurting and find a way to make them smile, then I would be happy." She said, "Well, you can't get paid for that, so you need to find a career." But I never lost THAT feeling. I always have had that as my heart's desire. This is the foundation for what happened this weekend. I stopped at a booth that advertised a woman making her own balms/salves and such. She grows her own herbs and creates these healing things. I offered her some recipe cards (the pictures above) and explained what I am building. THIS woman was my one person. She came from behind her table in tears to tell me that she is waiting to either bury her child or visit her in prison and she doesn't know what to do. I hugged her close, prayed over her and now I am creating a 7 day journey for parents in her place. I have been her and to be perfectly honest, I did and didn't think about that component. So, ultimately, I learned some, was blessed a ton, had to take a deep breath and realize this is not about how I think it's going to work--that doing this is a complete faith walk that I CANNOT do on my own---being patient, intentional, and not taking steps I think should be taken, but listening to HIM. Because, look, when I recognized this Women's Expo was something that I could walk into, HE had already blessed it. Just printing the recipe cards alone was something I really couldn't afford. I had $20 to work with. I walked into Staples (after going to the library where I thought I could do a cheap printing--the librarian shared with me that I could do it cheaper at Staples!!), explained to the man (Joe) what I needed and how much I was working with. He asked how many I needed printed--I said, "I need as many as I can get" He printed me out more than I could've hoped for and didn't charge me a dime. These are the things that will remind me as I move forward. The building blocks of a solid foundation that is going to lead into something I can't fully fathom yet. A flashlight guide to THE SOURCE. HE is just SO GOOD!!!
Million Dollar Interview - Your Feedback Needed
This Friday I'm interviewing Gabby. 💸She hosts retreats that gross over a million dollars in a single weekend. The better part is that she gets to see women obtain healing and overcome trauma. And she has a parent coaching business where she helps families find wholeness. And she built it all from scratch. And she has the blueprint. What do you want me to ask her? What tactical advice do you want?

Great question, Joel! I'm feeling like she will talk about the things I think about-- How did you know you found YOUR niche?... Is it based on life knowledge or a degree?... If you started from scratch with little income, how did you do it?... What did you have to give up to be where you are now?... Joel's question helped me, though. Looking over my own questions, I think my issue is confidence and just being unsure on what I have to offer 🤔🤔

@Steve Cato gaining clarity and focus so I can grow a business/ products that truly plants seeds/ leaves a lasting impact, not just puts $$ in my bank account. As well a allowing myself to be more open to connecting with people/ growing my safe community so we can all thrive. You are so good about asking questions that really go to the heart of the matter with such great curiosity that it makes me dig a little deeper, always. So I'm excited for what could be in store for you and all of us here, just simply walking through the process and learning about ourselves & each other and how to best steward what God has endowed each of us with-- to thrive and not just "get by"😊🤙🤙😊🙏😊
