Video #182 is publishing right now: "How I Setup SolidWorks to Design Faster." Covered shortcuts, gesture toolbar, and the SpaceMouse. I've been running this setup for a while, but it took time to work out what actually saves time versus what just looks like it does. The .sldreg settings file from the video is available here if you want to grab it. (the video explains more) On the community side, the welcome experience is now set up properly. New members land on a visible learning path: LEGO library → Fundamentals → what's next. If you joined recently, go to Start Here and check it out. The SolidWorks Fundamentals Workbook launch is close. Content is drafted. More on that soon. What's something in your SolidWorks setup you've never bothered to configure but probably should?

I will be watching this very soon, and am expecting something phenomenal!! Thanks, Chris. I'll give you feedback.
SolidWorks Drawings: Sheet Formats, Views & Design Intent
NEW Video. In response to a member request (possibly @Wayne Hinrichsen ?) regarding some content on drawings. This video covers what happens next after modelling: how your design goes from file to manufactured part. For product and industrial design students and early-career designers who want to understand not just how to place views, but why the drawing file works the way it does. The video leads in my existing Pulley Drawing series of lessons which provides resources and 2.5hrs of instruction on how to create SolidWorks drawings. Let me know what you think!

MySOLIDWORKS Public Library
Hi there. Perhaps I am looking in the wrong places, but what is the web URL for your "MySOLIDWORKS Public Library"? I may have been there but just did not realise!! Many thanks.
100 members. Thank you.
When I started Fully Defined, I wasn't sure who'd show up. Turns out, it's exactly the kind of people I wanted to build this for: designers and engineers who actually care about doing SolidWorks properly. 100 members on Skool feels worth marking. To celebrate, I'm giving away a copy of a book I co-authored: the SolidWorks Fundamentals Workbook by CADclass. It covers the core tools and workflows you need to build real competency in SolidWorks, not just get through exercises. (Not publicly available yet) To enter: Leave a comment below answering this question. What's the one SolidWorks skill or topic you most want to level up? One winner, drawn at random from the comments. Winner will receive a digital copy of the book (PDF). Winner announced 1 week from today Seriously. Thank you for being here!
100 members. Thank you.

Well, as a relative beginner, I am wanting to learn everything! But my interest is Assemblies as well as Drawing. I look forward to learning much more from you, Chris, and I wish that your Skool 'class' would grow and grow, 1000+, just for starters. I love your teaching style and watch all your videos, often many times over, especially the long ones. Kind regards, Wayne.

Hi Chris. Thanks for the reply. Yes, the Pully Project. Thanks for the link to the files. I will check out your Youtube channel again. I remember seeing it there a while back, but had forgotten where. Appreciated. Have a great Sunday, if it has not passed yet for you in Australia. I am in South Africa.
