Role-play Thursday!
One of my favorite DSA days! The way we communicate with our clients is paramount! Not just the words we say, but how we say them and what inflection tone and body language have to do with the way you are perceived. I look forward to seeing you there!

What I learned from 75 Hard
I’m sure you all know that I did 75 Hard starting Jan 7 and finished last Sunday March 22. I have been asked by several people what I learned from the experience, and I want to share some bullet point take aways. Focus on today only- when I started it was intimidating to see all the black numbers that still had to be changed to red. I actually quit focusing on the numbers till about day 60. My consistency was the rewarded by me doing what I had to every day.- There were many days, including day 74, where for a brief moment, I thought about not going to lift, eating something I shouldn’t, not chugging down 1/2 gallon of water at night to get my gallon in, yet I still did what I had to every day. I can do hard things- day 2 was the hardest day. I remember thinking “What’s the big deal if I quit?, Most people quit this, especially on their first attempt. I can start over again”. That conversation only took a few seconds and after that was when I decided I was going to complete this on the first try, no matter what! I am successful with a schedule & system- I developed a schedule of when I would do certain things every day so that I wasn’t cramming at the end of the day. Was I always on schedule? NOPE. There were days I missed my morning walk, so I put my shoes in the truck and found a place to walk some time during the day (I found some really great places to walk and explore), 1 day I had to drink 96oz of water in about 3 hours and lift with all that water in my stomach! That only happened once! When I was consistent with my schedule, I didn’t really have to think about what was left because things were just happening. I got complacent mid way and had to reevaluate why I was really doing this. Complacency eliminated. Here are some of the challenges I had during this journey I got sick 2x, once for 4 days While sick, I still had to walk, in a snowstorm 2x Had to work out at 230am before my flight to Ground School because of scheduling Strained my shoulder 2x from bad form, hurt my lower back from previous damage, couldn’t do all my lifts so
