Handling the ‘Too High’ Price Objection
Have you ever tried to sell a premium tier or a class and somebody told you the price was too high? That moment can make or break the sale—and most people fumble it. But here’s the truth: “too expensive” isn’t a rejection. It’s an opportunity to reframe the conversation and show them what they’re really investing in. I just dropped a quick video breaking down exactly what to say when you get hit with this objection. It’s the response that’s helped me close deals even when prospects initially pushed back on price. Watch it here 👇 Question: Would love to hear if this helps you handle pricing pushback differently!
Handling the ‘Too High’ Price Objection

Offline, in my tax business, I often have people say that my price is too high. ( I do charge more than "average", because I am not average!) In response, I slowly say, "If PRICE is your PRIMARY concern, than I am not the person for you. There are plenty of people with less experience who charge less." 9 times out of 10 they become a customer at full price.

Hi I’m Kathleen and I created The Messy Money School for people who want to be better with money but don’t want to be yelled at by a spreadsheet! It is my passion project.💜 I”ve worked and studied in Money and Finance for over 30 years and I am deeply frustrated by the amount of bad advice and the lack of good money advice available to the people who need it most. My community is a friendly, free space to learn money basics and beyond, ask questions, celebrate wins, and support each other. If that sounds like your kind of group, come check it out! In my free group we cover mindset and math, debt, saving, investing, taxes, and even ways to make more money. We offer support, encouragement, and a place to share wins, big or small. Check out The Messy Money School! https://www.skool.com/bootstrapping-biz-5749/about

💼 Bookkeeper vs. Accountant — What’s the Difference?
Here’s a quick breakdown: 👉 Bookkeeper = Keeps your books clean & current - Tracks income/expenses - Reconciles accounts - Manages day-to-day financial records 👉 Accountant = Analyzes & advises - Reviews your financials - Prepares taxes - Helps with high-level strategy 🔎 Fun Fact: Many accountants don’t even like doing bookkeeping — and if they do, it could cost you $300–$400/hour or more 😳 That’s why both roles are essential — and why a great bookkeeper can save you time, money, and stress. Let's start Doing Business Right! DBR POLL: Did you know there was a difference between a bookkeeper and an accountant?

As a tax accountant I can confirm that while I can do bookkeeping and I am good at bookkeeping, I have no desire to do bookkeeping, I don't want to do bookkeeping, and I am grateful there are bookkeepers in this world. 💜☮️
