People,,, Chandeliers.....
Whenever Turkish people heard me speaking Korean, @Evelyne Vincent some of them would come up to me and say hello. It was such a new and interesting experience for me. We would chat for a little while and even take pictures together. I also took a boat to visit another city. I don't remember everything clearly, but I remember visiting a beautiful palace. The chandeliers inside were incredible. There were some places where we weren't allowed to take pictures, ㅜㅜ ....so I just took some of the brochure instead.

@Fulya Acun Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful information about Dolmabahçe Palace. After reading your post, I learned a little about Atatürk and the history of modern Turkey, and it was very interesting. Every country has difficult moments in its history, and it seems that Turkey had such a time as well. Learning about it helped me understand why Atatürk is so respected, and why this place is so meaningful for Turkish people. I visited around10 years ago. At the time, I just admired the chandeliers and the architecture without really knowing what the history was. But thanks to your explanation, I now realize that I visited a place with deep historical and emotional meaning. Because of your post, my photos from that trip have become much more meaningful to me. Thank you for helping me see them in a completely different way. I truly appreciate it. ❤️ 💙 💜 💖 💗 💘
