This all may seem like TMI, but it’s good for me to get it out and own the ups and the downs now that I’m not in the middle of it all. Here we go - Enjoy the ride… Hi, I’m Evan - Age 36 - Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas, USA. I had a pretty great first 30 years of life. Got good grades, picked an awesome location for college, got good degrees, had a 10yr+ career with lots of lateral growth for a CRM Agency, Traveled to 48 States and all over Scandinavia / Northern Europe, fell in love a couple times (1st didn’t want kids - Boo, 2nd became my longest friend and is my sons mom), moved to the country, bought a starter home, began building the DIY dream house from scratch, almost got married, and was loving life at peak self-actualization. Just when I was reaching my last life goal (the child I’ve wanted since I was 4) everything quickly fell apart.

Decided not to clog up @Joseph Isosaki 's next with this. @Sarah Hankins The maternal side of my family are from the Ohio/Michigan border region and live all over Michigan and Ohio. Some very near you I imagine. My favorite band The Werks is from Dayton Ohio. I love the Appalachian's. I moved to Asheville, NC after college in Ashland, OR but couldnt find work so I had to move to Greensboro, NC and thats where my beautiful life and infinite karmic power reversed polarity and slowly leaked out causing me to lose everything and begin again here at home in Texas.
Joseph Isosaki - Integrating Fatherhood & Entrepreneurship
Origin: I just moved to Chicago after my all-in entrepreneurial ventures in Japan Failed. I'm currently looking for a global medTech leadership role (w/ benefits) so I can provide financial stability to my family. I've also built free community on Skool and am hopeful that I can progress my paid communities in a scalable way to provide additional value and financial freedom. Desired Future State: For the MedTech Role... targeting base comp 230k, working remote so I can still take care of baby Akio and Emiko (3yr), with global innovation influence ideally working between Startups, VC, and Strategics. For Skool, I'm hoping to build a thriving Free Community of around 5000 folks, and hit 40k MRR on my two paid communities in the years to come as things scale. Why: I genuinely want to provide for my children, my wife, my in-laws and break free of paycheck to paycheck. From a vocational perspective my IKIGAI is very centered on unlocking the potential of others as well as progressing innovation that heals on a global scales Fears: Order of Operations, patience, building for long term horizon, burn out, ... and whatever else crazy that God wants me to do

@Joseph Isosaki Thanks for this. I'm going to take a similar approach to get my LinkedIn back online. I disappeared from my previous life and have been unsure about how to approach getting it back in a manner that maintains credibility. I look forward to office hours tomorrow at which point I will be launching my new community that I already have a growing wait list for. @Sarah Hankins Oh shoot for reals? You live in my favorite part of nowhere.
What Big Brains can help me get an ap going?!
I saw canva has a code thing that you tell it what you want and it creates the code needed… but I need to know what I do after that with the code to get it to be something useable. I’m a tech granny brain, but I have wanted to have ap made for my teens to input their stitches as they create their crochet items so it creates the pattern in a doc after that then they could sell. They are going to be doing their skool community shortly (have had the url etc for almost a year 😂🤦🏻‍♀️) and if this ap works then it could also be something we could potentially offer in their community as a perk as well… Anyways, I think I remember there are some folks in here that have made their own ap so wanted to see if I could chat and figure out how to finally do this damn thing 😜

I think this already exists. Ive seen my mom using something similar. My Row Counter or Patternum? Something like that. If you still want to build it out then yes this would be something that could be created pretty easily vibe coding it with lovable/bolt.new and codex/cursor.

To directly answer your question though. Usually you'd take the code that canva gives you and use a code editor or give it to Claude Sonnet 3.7 or Codex to tweak it and then to use it you have go deploy on the web with vercel, replit, netlify, etc.
Why don't we ..
.. just share our wildest ideas we had while being on the toilet 🧠?

@The Skool Cat It's in Motion. Will be doing something a little less involved starting in the Game of Life, but we'll see where it goes. Just found that I could apply a bunch of my ideas related to this through games using telegram bots.

@The Skool Cat well with the telegram bots then I can access the gyroscope and accelerometer on a device, so that opens up some greater possibilities without forcing people into an app of my own which Im largely trying to avoid as a point of differentiation. While the vast majority of my current life gamification ecosystem lives in Notion for collaborative project, knowledge, and asset management, I havent had a very good/automated way of verifying what people say they have completed. Hoping to be able to use AI modalities and motion tracking to provide informal boundaries that attempt to keep people from cheating themselves which is the downfall of habatica and most other gamification apps.
