BEEN THERE? DROP IT BELOW (1 place per comment)
🌍 I want to try something simple but powerful. 👇 Where have you actually been (traveled, lived, or explored)? BUT one rule: ➡️ Post ONE destination per comment (no lists, no stacking cities) Examples: “Rome, Italy” “Tulum, Mexico” “Sedona, Arizona” Why we’re doing this: I want to start building a trusted travel network inside this group — real places, real people, real experiences. This helps: People planning trips know who to talk to Me connect you with the right people Surface real recommendations (not Google noise) Optional (if you want to add more): Reply to your own comment with: What you loved What surprised you What you’d skip Let’s see how deep this group really goes 👇

New Orleans update
Based on my current experiences, I'm going to pull back on doing random scheduled details about New Orleans. I'm going to spend my time with people who are 100% wanting to know about this trip. I'm setting up an invite only event soon. If you are 100% wanting to do New Orleans as a group then comet New Orleans below and I'll get you on the list. This will be an invite only group. This will not be at a link that will be public to this group. I'm looking for high intent. People who really want to know about this trip. Sorry this is not AI so this is my normal long-winded message LOL. Hope you don't mind!

I would like to go, but I don't have the funds right now with 7 weeks out of open heart surgery. Maybe later in the year I can get together with you all and go somewhere fun!

@Michael Johnson thank you, Michael. I would enjoy going to New Orleans I would like to go to Venus Beach, Florida and look for shark teeth, and see what the west side of Florida is like. Just a relaxing kind of trip. There are places in that area that I would like to see like aviiaries and sanctuaries. I have to get better first, and it would help to have the extra funds to go on the trip.
Rescheduling Event- Loss of a friend
Hey everyone I wanted to give a quick update. I’ll be rescheduling tonight’s “Solo Travel Confidence” call for next week. I recently lost a close friend, and there’s a memorial this evening that I need to be present for. I appreciate your understanding, and I’ll share the updated time shortly. — Michael

If You Want to Travel but Aren’t Sure What Makes Sense Yet
For Anyone Who Wants to Travel… but Isn’t Sure What Makes Sense Yet A lot of people here are sitting in the same in-between space. You want to travel. But you’re not clear on how, where, or what actually fits right now. That doesn’t mean you’re behind. It doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong. It usually just means you’re trying to be thoughtful instead of impulsive. You don’t need to be ready. You don’t need a destination picked. You don’t need a timeline figured out. Most decisions don’t get clearer by thinking harder — they get clearer by having the right conversation. If you ever want help deciding, not just reading or collecting ideas, that’s what the Collective is for.

I am in hospital possible stroke. I don't feel up to getting online right now.
🪞 The Post: The Gap Between "Someday" and "Step One"
Headline: Is your "Someday" bucket getting a little too full? I’ve been looking at my own travel notes lately, and I realized something. Most of us don't have a "lack of ideas" problem. We have a "Clarity Gap." It’s that space between having a beautiful destination in mind and actually feeling ready to hit the "Confirm" button. We collect the brochures, we join the groups (like this one!), and we look at the photos... but when it comes to taking that next inch of progress, something makes us pause. I see this all the time, and I've felt it too. Sometimes the pause is because: - The thought of navigating a new place solo feels heavier than it did yesterday. - The "logistics noise" (flights, insurance, safety) starts to drown out the excitement. - Or, honestly, it’s just the fear of finally committing to a dream and worrying it won't be what we hoped. In our paid community, The Collective, we spend our time closing that gap—moving from "thinking about it" to "ready for it" with actual systems and vetted trips. It’s where we move past the hesitation. But before we even talk about steps, I want to hold up a mirror to that hesitation. Because you can’t move past a barrier until you name it. 👇 The "One Step" Question: If you had to put a name to it, what is the one thing that holds you back from moving a trip from your "Someday" list to your "Calendar"? (Is it the solo factor? The safety "what-ifs"? Or just not knowing where to start? No right or wrong answers here—just looking for clarity.)

For me, I missed doing and going so many places and opportunities to learn a new craft or something else. I FINALLY decided that since I didn't have anyone else to go with me, was just going to go by myself. In some ways, it isn't that much fun if you don't have someone to see and do the things and places. So, I have gotten some things done on my bucket list. 🪣 I still have things I want to do, and places that I still want to see and travel to, so maybe I will get more things done, and I will still see some of the places.
