Plan Your 2025 Goals with Clarity and Confidence
As a mom of two and a freelancer, life can feel like a never-ending to-do list. But for 2025, I’m all about setting goals that feel achievable and motivating, not overwhelming. Before diving into new goals, I like to reflect on the past year. What worked? What didn’t? For me, balancing client deadlines while making time for family was a big win. But I also learned that saying “yes” to too much leaves little room for what really matters. Big dreams are great, but they can feel so intimidating, right? So instead of saying, “I’ll grow my freelance business,” I’m breaking it into smaller, doable steps, like finding two new clients or streamlining my workflow to carve out more time with the kids. Small wins really do add up. This year, I’m focusing on what truly matters, family, growth, and self-care. That means movie nights with the kids, improving my skills for work, and sneaking in some “me time” (maybe finally finishing that game I started forever ago-The Sims). Of course, life with kids means plans can change in a heartbeat, and that’s okay. If things get messy, I remind myself that progress is still progress. Writing my goals down and keeping them where I can see them helps me stay on track, even on the busiest days. 2025 isn’t about being perfect; it’s about showing up for yourself, one step at a time. What’s one goal you’re working on for the new year? Let’s make it happen together! 🎉

Holiday Hustle: Chaos in Harmony
It’s December 24th, and let me tell you—it’s been a day. Between cooking up a storm for our holiday feast, cleaning the house, and keeping the kids entertained, it’s been full-on chaos. But honestly? It’s the kind of chaos that feels like harmony in its own messy way. By the end of it, when everyone’s around the table and the laughter fills the room, I just know it’ll all be worth it. These are the moments that make the holidays special. Merry Christmas in advance, everyone! I’ll be signing off until the 26th… or maybe tomorrow, who knows? I’ll be too busy soaking up the family time to keep track. Wishing you all a festive season filled with love, laughter, and a little less chaos than mine! 🎄✨ What’s your favorite part of your holiday prep? Let me know before I disappear into the Christmas madness!

Merry Christmas to you Louise!! Wishing you an abundance of harmony and just enough chaos to provide some contrast. Enjoy the time with your family and we'll catch up soon.
How to Build Discipline Before the New Year
The New Year is right around the corner, but here’s the thing, discipline doesn’t magically appear on January 1st. It’s something you can start building right now, one small habit at a time. 1. Start Small Discipline is like a muscle—it grows with consistent effort. Pick one small habit you can commit to daily, like drinking a glass of water first thing in the morning or spending 5 minutes tidying up before bed. 2.Create a Routine Having a routine makes it easier to stick to habits. it’s all about prepping the night before, writing my to-do list or setting up breakfast so mornings feel less chaotic. 3.Track Your Progress There’s something so motivating about seeing how far you’ve come. Whether it’s a journal, an app, or just a checklist on your fridge, tracking your wins keeps you accountable. 4. Be Kind to Yourself You’re not going to get it perfect every day, and that’s okay. What matters is that you show up and keep trying. Progress, not perfection, is the goal. Discipline isn’t about waiting for the New Year to start fresh, it’s about starting now with small, intentional choices.

Posts about music
Hi Chris et al, First, I want to thank you all for making me feel like a welcome member of the family here. I very much appreciate it. Respect. Can I put posts related to music instruction, teaching methodologies and networking here? I'm a keyboardist that has found himself in Denver and would like to connect with players here to jam, record, educate and collaborate in various ways. Anyone have any recommendations on venues for open mics, open jams, pawn shops and music stores? Thanks for your consideration! CBR

Overwhelmed
Overwhelmed After a very, very, very long time of not following everyone due to many reasons related to work and health..... I don’t know where I am anymore... Everything seems so strange when I come back because I have been left far behind by everyone else. I will try to catch up on the content that I have missed over the past time to keep up with everyone as quickly as possible... But I really don’t know where to start again to keep up with everyone.... LOL - I guess I will "SAY HI to everyone" so that it doesn’t feel so unfamiliar.... "HI EVERYONE, OLD MEMBERS AND NEW MEMBERS..... HOPEFULLY I WILL SOON INTEGRATE BACK WITH EVERYONE HERE" - I will also not forget to congratulate Ifa Dyana Rozwan for achieving a new milestone; you will continue to progress a lot on the journey ahead, keep moving forward, our writer. - Thank you to the "new friends" who have continued to keep this house warm during the past time. For now, that’s it.... I will continue with a new topic when "I complete my stroll."

hi @Ngoc O .o! Welcome back!! I am sorry to hear about your health issues and hope that everything is okay. I too have had some family issues that have been "disruptive" but some times life gets in the way of the goals that we set for ourselves. I invite you to consider that you haven't been left far behind anyone. As I see it, this IRL Game is a journey (not a destination) and a game that you play against yourself; not in comparison to anyone else. Sure; a little friendly competition can be handy to keep one motivated but it's important to keep it all in perspective and just be the best version of yourself that you can be. Glad to hear from you again and nice to have you back my friend.
