As some of you may know, I recently left the fire service to serve it full time as a coach. This is part of the announcement post I am going to put out there. I thought I would share: Last week, I walked out of the firehouse for the last time. After years on shift, more hours with my crew than even my family, I said goodbye. It's one of the hardest decisions I've ever made. But it was necessary. Too many emails. Too many funerals. Too many stories of firefighters dying young due to cardiac arrest, cancer, and suicide. The mission became clear: change the trajectory. Rewrite the story. Stop the cycle of silent suffering in the fire service. That mission hasn’t changed. If anything, it’s only grown stronger. You don’t fight for something like part-time, not if you're serious. You go all in. Double down on the mission. So hear me when I say this: This is not the end of my commitment to the fire service. It's the beginning. Wherever I go, I take the firefighting community with me. Let’s go to war for our health. Let’s change what it means to be a firefighter. Talk soon, – Robbie
