Damn. this is probably going to be one of the most challenging and transformative life events for me so far. @ the age of 43 and professional background based mostly in new home, commercial and residential remodel, i'm finally making the choice to pursue my passion in music production. I've also decided to go back to college to get my bachelor's of science in music production and have already been accepted to the Los Angeles Film and Art School. At this point I am in the process of finishing the FAFSA paperwork and then waiting for the funding. I've also joined the Google Play Store's app development team to finish a couple project apps that I wanted to build before I start as a challenge to myself. Another challenge that I'm probably facing is transitioning from my bandlab account on a cell phone to actually using MIDIs and DAW on my laptop, which is probably going to be the most challenging. I have been lucky enough that with my experience on BandLab, they have made the possibility for me to have my music published and put on formats like Spotify and iTunes. So, with all of that being said, I'm going to have a pretty busy workload in the next coming days, but it looks like I've found a couple good groups to help me along the way, and I can't wait to continue my new pursuit in the career of music production.
