King George V Royal Embossed Crown Cover
This cover was picked up at a Sunday market in a bag of covers I purchased. There were lots of interesting items in there including a forged Tibet cover, a rare Fiji cancel of cover plus lots more. I have downloaded a lot of samples of KGV handwriting and the handwriting on the cover is remarkably similar. I tried (unsuccessfully) to get it verified by a hand writing expert as most won't do this type of work/research. I've added a few of the documents I downloaded (I have 14). What are your thoughts?

@Dave Sheridan thank you for that Dave. I have sent off an email.

They replied and said to go through their website: https://www.paulfrasercollectibles.com/pages/looking-to-sell-your-stamps-or-coins This is at a cost of £39 and has all this squib language associated with it. So to pay $80 and get an opinion that they won't stand by......no thank you! "This service offers an informal opinion, with a typical response time of 5-7 working days. While it can provide helpful guidance, it is not a formal valuation or confirmation of authenticity and is not intended for use in insurance, probate, legal, tax, lending, or other official or legally binding matters."
An informative read
There's some eyebrow-raising numbers and some excellent advice in this article https://www.justcollecting.com/blogs/news/top-10-tips-the-1m-rare-collectibles-of-tomorrow

Go into partnership with Nostradamus. It could yield great results..... Hindsight is a wonderful thing. I remember reading a story about Warren Buffett in his early days. A small group thought that they could corner the market on a particular stamp and then sell it back into the market at a large markup. They couldn't do it and Buffett said he used the stamps for postage over the subsequent years. For every 100 things you may try as an investment, only one or two may work out. That's not to say don't do it, but don't plan on winning too often.
OK folks, the community needs help
We've dropped another member today, and I'm surprised he stayed as long as he did to be honest. His was the only other stamp community on Skool and he didn't get his community going. We're now the only stamp-based community, albeit we're a lot more than stamps now! I advertise on Facebook and Instagram, and promote wherever and whenever I can on other socials, but this is a call to action. I've made the community free and public, so everyone can check out what we do. If you know one single seller or collector that would benefit from being here and could engage with the group, invite them along. Unfortunately, as I don't have a PRO subscription, I can't offer affiliate payments for you yet. I love our little community, which really is a labour of love for me, and I'd love to see it be as good as I know it can be. Can you help?

It's extremely hard to reach that critical mass but persistence is the only thing that will get there.
Community name change?
When I started this community, it was focused on stamps and stamp sellers. As things inevitably evolve, the group name seems less appropriate, and I'm considering a more user-friendly and attractive name that might attract more collectors. There's not enough of us for a poll to be worthwhile, but I'm considering "The Collectables Hub" "Collectables Central" or "Collectables Skool". What do you think? Any other ideas?

Stroke on 1904 NZ Postage Due SG D18 (CP Y15b)
This is a 1904 NZ Postage Due on unsurfaced Cowan Paper with sideways and inverted (W 7b) watermark, used. What is interesting is the massive stroke next to the "1". Can't find any reference to it anywhere in my literature. It is probably a transient error, but I'm curious if anyone has seen something similar.
