A Quick guestion
Hey everyone, is it okay if I ask something here? There’s something on my mind! A new barber is opening up in my street soon, and I’m a little worried that I might lose some clients because of it. Thank you all for your responses. Greetz David

I don’t feel you should worry! The world is big enough that if you focus on being you, giving value to your customers and market you and your business then they could be right next door and it still wouldn’t effect your trade. Yes on the basis of a stranger walking past the shop it means there is healthy competition however it’s all based on branding. If both shops are the most generic barbershop on earth then yes they’re competing because neither have branding. Whereas if your shop represents you in its interior design, signage, logos, energy etc etc then there is no such thing as competition because it is you and your branding that will make them walk through the door not just the need for a haircut. 🙌🏼❤️

Let’s go!!! This is so fire 🙌🏼🚀
Square layer x curtain bangs
Coming Sunday to The Pinnacle Course 🫡🚀 Starting strong with two weeks of curtain bangs to reinforce the idea that style and haircut aren’t the same thing! This week we’ll be working with square layers due to the hair type being straighter and coarser. Continuing to focus on flow chart box #1 - consultation. Understanding technical decision making based off of consulting correctly!
Square layer x curtain bangs
So excited for the whole of this course!! 🙌🏼❤️
Difficult grown patters
Hi guys just a quick question that I think can help myself and others When dealing with cowlicks, hard crowns and bits that stick up on the side that can affect your style what’s the best way to work around all of these things as sometimes I feel I do it right then others they don’t sit the way I want them too ? Thanks guys 👊🏻
Personally for me it really depends on the desired outcome. If it is for the hair to lay down then you need to build more weight/length around that growth pattern. If it is for it to stick up then you need to take it shorter. And also if the goal is for that area of hair not to stick out past a the silhouette of the rest of that area then it may again be needed to take it shorter. The key to a good grow out is the idea of the haircut structurally growing out with one silhouette. The moment some hair grows out to one silhouette and other hair to another it starts to look disjointed and becomes difficult to manage. Now depending on hair type, growth patterns etc; getting the hair to grow out in one silhouette most of the time will mean connecting it. But there are times when disconnecting is appropriate. For example; on super straight hair if they want a mullet it may be beneficial to do a horizontally disconnected mullet whereas softer hair would be better with a connected mullet front to back. Does that make sense? Any questions fire away 🙌🏼
