@Heather Boers Wow. That's me with mosquitoes. LOL Because I have been for so long, I try to find dyes that have fewer chemicals in them. As we age, our immune system and nervous system become autoresponders. That's what happened to me and mosquitoes. I got bitten so bad camping one time over 10 years ago; my immune system kicks into high gear from the proteins in their saliva, so I found a bite healer at Costco that is like a pinpoint burning system, and I ice it right after. Helps A LOT! Sounds like you have a similar issue with the chemicals in the dyes. And yes, salon stuff can be just as harsh, if not more so, than the store-bought options. I am now trying a shampoo option from Amazon. Even fewer chemicals.
