How's your Flame Challenge 🔥 Going!!
I've noticed a lot of synchronicity! Since I go through everyone's posts each day, I'm noticing a lot of the same cards being pulled, but by different people! It's crazy how many of the same cards!! But everyone is noticing something different about each card! And talk about humbling! I can't believe how much I'm learning too! Almost every single thing you all point out about a card, I'm like "Well, shucks, I haven't noticed that before!" It's so powerful just looking at the cards, yet we forget to look. Even I forget to look! So, here's to lookin at you kid! 🎬

5 of wands
As I’ve mentioned before, I’ve been comparing my new deck (the StarChild Tarot) with the Universal Waite deck to see the differences because the StarChild has an extra trump card and has renamed some of them. So I thought I’d see how they compare. I use Brigit Esselmont’s Ultimate Guide to Tarot Card Meanings as my go-to source for all tarot meanings. It’s based off the RWS decks, and explains a lot of the symbolism in the cards, and it’s insanely in depth. All that said- I’ve come to the 5 of wands in my journey here. It’s very obvious that this card is about conflict. But the book approaches it as a *learn to work with people. Be open to others opinions and views* kind of conflict. And StarChild literally says “this card is not about teamwork, but personal goals and ambitions” So I guess my question is, how do YOU view it? Learning to work with others? Or working on personal priorities, goals, and ambitions? Or do you just see dumpster fire 🤣

In the tarot course I’m currently taking, the five of wands is presented as competition, disagreements, and struggles that occur within groups, jobs, academia, and career. That everyone wants to be in charge no one wants to follow. The lesson being we need to step back and choose who can help us move forward when stuck. The RWS, I think, speaks to teamwork aspect. I definitely do not get that vibe from the Starchild card.
"I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship"🎬
