Numb Feet on the Turbo?
Hi guys, just wondering if anyone has advice on this. I was on a call there and an issue of numb feet came up. Bike fit seems okay and shoes don’t seem too tight. Heat seems like it’s not the problem either. I am sure that a lot of people have come across this issue before so any advice would be appreciated. Even general turbo comfort advice would be welcome too! Cheers! Matthew

Any time I’ve seen numb feet it’s a shoe width issue. But you’d wonder what’s different about the turbo than outdoors? Higher % of the ride seated indoors but not sure that adds to numb feet. Phil Burt call is tomorrow I’ll make a note of this

Did you ride today? I’m jumping up on the indoor trainer for vo2 session in the next hour

If you were getting a new bike would you go road or gravel and why?

@Gerard Shields 45mm is probably enough for almost anyone. The trend has been wider for the past few years. 47mm and even out to 2.2 I think we may see a move to narrower this season with the launch of SRAMs gravel fork

@Matthew Younkins i don't think its sram forks alone that are a game changer. I'm just using that sram fork represent the broader trend towards suspension in gravel. A lot of the time gravel riders are sram sponsored so that's getting a lot of feedback and industry hype. Being designed specifically for gravel bike geometry with modest offset should make the handling which better than a mtb fork on a gravel bike. I haven't ridden one yet. I'm doing a Parlee Taos build at the moment and would love to put one on it

@Clint Watchman yeah I’m testing it hard at the moment. I’ll touch base when I’m ready to bring the first group of testers across
