Sunday Selfie Set Up! 🌱⭐️🌙
Inspired by @Jenn Mccann we’re going to look to Sunday’s as a day for self reflection and positive set up for the week ahead! If you feel inspired, take some time today for yourself to think about what you want the upcoming week to look like. Then set at least one intention for the week. But no more than three. You don’t want to overwhelm yourself and feel disappointed if you don’t meet all of them. Post your intentions in the comments so we can support one another, hold each accountable, and get a boost if we’re struggling during the week. This upcoming week is inspired by the card 7 of Pentacles. You can use this card to help you reflect if you’d like. ❤️❤️❤️

I'm posting under the Life&sh*t tab cause this is only indirectly Tarot. I took a field trip to one of my favorite local art supply stores today, and since many of us are artists, thought i would share. Its favorite because its in old vintage building on mainstreet and its positively packed with inspiration. I even got a picture of the safe where they keep the unfinished tarot paintings that I am working on to keep them safe. Well, they have a safe anyway. They have an amazing room of custom papers, another for frames etc. Its so inspiring to be surrounded like that. Its warm and cozy, and surprises in every corner. Much like its inspiring to be around all of you as we look at and discuss the cards, the imagery, the intuitive meanings. We have a warm cozy grpup with surprises and resources around every corner. I love it. I included a couple of pictures.

@Jeff Peden that is so interesting thank you for sharing. I definitely would not say I'm very artistic at least not in a painting or drawing sort of way. I am more musically artistic than anything.

@Jeff Peden So I don't have a singing bowl but I really do want one. I do have music playing sometimes in my readings, I just genuinely love music in general. I played saxophone for several years, and I think music is very powerful and it's something that you can really connect deeply to. I also love to sing as well not that I'm especially talented in that area lol.
🌟 Saturday Spread Along! 🃏🃏🃏
We're trying something new! Welcome to the Saturday Spread Along! 🃏🃏🃏 I'm posting a simple 3 card spread for everyone. If you feel called to do so, grab your favorite deck and pull those cards! Do a reading and post it here in the comment section with a picture of the cards you pulled. If you want to help others and give feedback on readings, great! This is great practice for you to get your feet wet doing readings and putting yourself out there. Especially if you want to do readings for others someday. Now, your reading doesn't have to super complex and in-depth. Once sentence per card is absolutely fine! Just dip your toes in the metaphorical tarot waters! 🌊 This is the thread. Everyone's spreads go here today. How to: Pull one card for each postition Take Picture of the cards and post Let us know the name of the Deck used Post your reading in the comments The Spread: The Let's Have Good Day Spread! Card 1 — What's in your corner today? Your secret weapon. What's already working for you. Card 2 — What's ready to surprise you? Something unexpected to look for. This card tells you where to look. Card 3 — What's worth celebrating today? Big or small. What deserves a moment of "yeah, I did that." I'm excited to see your readings!

I'm going to post mine later on today sorry that I'm just now getting to it.
Hey!
I’m Jacinta, 28. I’ve been doing tarot reads for a while now, mostly for myself. It’s something I’ve naturally gravitated towards over time, especially when I need clarity or guidance. I tend to pull cards when I’m trying to make sense of things or just need a different perspective, so it’s become a bit of a grounding tool for me. I wouldn’t say I’m brand new, but I also know I’ve got a lot to learn. My favourite card is The High Priestess, I’ve always felt really drawn to her. I like the whole intuition, inner knowing, and trusting what you feel rather than just what you see. That side of tarot resonates with me a lot. The biggest thing I struggle with is remembering all the meanings and not overthinking everything. I feel like I’ll get an initial read or feeling, but then I second guess it and end up reaching for guidebooks or keywords to “confirm” it. I want to get to a point where I can trust what I’m picking up, read more naturally, and not feel like I need to double check everything. I’m also trying to understand the deeper layers of the cards, not just the surface meanings, but how they connect in a spread, how intuition and structure work together, and how to read more fluidly instead of rigidly. I’m here to learn, build confidence, and actually get better at reading instead of staying stuck in that “I kinda know what I’m doing but not fully” stage. Keen to connect, learn from others, and keep improving 🔮✨

@Jacinta Richards it is so nice to meet you and welcome to the group. One of the things I try to do when I read is to first use my intuition and just go with the first thing that pops up. I struggle with second guessing myself as well so what I do is after I try to use my intuition first then I might go to the book and say okay well maybe I'm on the right track or maybe you know I have a little more to learn. Also I suggest getting like a practice deck and using washi tape to write keywords on your cards to help you remember them. But the idea is to always use your intuition first because your intuition is like a muscle and the more you flex it the more better you get it using it.

@Dirk Scholtens So I have a pendulum and I love it. The important thing is to take the time to connect with your pendulum, to always cleanse it before using and to understand what the different directions of your pendulum mean. Talk to your pendulum like you would a person and at first ask it questions that you know the answer to. For example ask it if your name is Dirk. Ask it is whatever your date of birth your date of birth etc things that you know the answer to because sometimes pendulums can be tricky. Sometimes you can have little spirits and things that may want to be manipulative. So always make sure that your pendulum is giving your truthful advice and testing it by asking stuff that you know the answer to is a way to do that. Also a good idea is to understand clearly what direction means yes what direction means no and what direction means unsure. And then after you've used it a couple of times for readings or whatever ask it again just to make sure. I have a little casting board that I use and I write yes no maybe an unsure and I just have my pendulum and go to whatever those areas are. I hope you find this helpful.
