@Cody Giroux I think it is how we are nurtured. A few generations ago we were mostly self-sufficient. If you didn't hunt, you didn't eat. Today we just fall back on government welfare. I think naturally seeking comfort has been programmed into us and is not our natural state. Children before 5 are mostly not programmed and they are always running around trying things, falling, exploring etc. As we get nurtured by TV, teachers, parents, media etc., we are told to not take risks, get a safe job, don't fail etc. Then that becomes our norm. To reverse it, be aware that virtually everything that we have been told is a lie and that we are easily programmed. Then program yourself. I think it comes down to identity. I don't know of any 'one way' to reprogram but if you keep trying, I'm sure it will happen.
