@Karisa Bitner @Krista Brea Truly the word homestead means many different things to many people... It's an interesting concept... can cover CSA's organics versus synthetic farming... I guess the beginning would be to see how many chapters you can come up with... I started down that path and finding the chapters for 25000 words back me up a bit...

Powerful AI Prompt to Edit Your Book
For those of you who don't have the budget to hire a professional editor. You are going to be really impressed with this AI prompt I just developed and tested. This is literally going to give you all the feedback you need. Just make sure you do it chapter by chapter for best results!! 👇 PROMPT👇 I would like you to act as an experienced developmental editor, book coach, and professional reviewer. Analyze the chapter provided below and give honest, constructive feedback that will help improve the overall quality of the book. Consider the intended audience, the author's goals, and the reader experience throughout your analysis. Begin by providing a brief summary of the chapter and what you believe the author is trying to accomplish. Then evaluate how effectively the chapter delivers on that objective. Discuss the overall clarity of the writing, whether the ideas are easy to understand, and identify any areas that may confuse readers or require additional explanation. Next, analyze the structure and flow of the chapter. Evaluate whether the information is presented in a logical sequence and whether transitions between sections feel natural. Identify any sections that feel out of place, repetitive, rushed, or unnecessarily long. Assess reader engagement throughout the chapter. Point out specific areas where readers are likely to remain interested and areas where they may lose attention. If applicable, suggest where additional stories, examples, case studies, exercises, or personal experiences could strengthen the content and make it more memorable. Review the author's tone and voice. Determine whether the tone is appropriate for the target audience and whether the author's voice remains consistent throughout the chapter. Highlight any sections where the writing feels particularly strong or where the voice could be improved. From the perspective of a reader, identify any unanswered questions that remain after finishing the chapter. Note any concepts that need further clarification, expansion, or supporting evidence.

Well C+ at best :-) Overall Score 8.2 out of 10 This is a strong, gentle, publishable foundation. It already has a clear message, good child-facing language, and a beautiful regenerative worldview. It does not need a full rebuild. It needs a sharper story spine, a more specific plant, and a little less adult explanation. Greatest Strength The greatest strength is the central message: We do not make life grow. We help create the conditions where life can grow. That is a powerful idea for children, parents, gardeners, and the whole series. Greatest Weakness The greatest weakness is that the story sometimes becomes a guided lesson instead of a child-driven discovery. Dad carries too much of the wisdom, and Lila could carry more of the action. Single Most Important Revision Choose a specific seed, preferably a bean or pea, and revise the story so Lila has a clear want connected to that seed from the beginning to the end. That one change would make the science clearer, the illustrations stronger, the emotional arc tighter, and the ending more satisfying.

@Krista Brea that would have to be a novel :-)
🚀 Use AI to Tune Up Your Amazon Book Listing
Your Amazon listing is your storefront. Small improvements to your title, subtitle, description, keywords, categories, and cover can have a significant impact on visibility and conversions. The good news? AI can help you identify weaknesses and opportunities that you might overlook on your own. Here are 3 prompts you can use today: ➡️ Prompt #1: Amazon Listing Audit Act as an Amazon KDP publishing expert, Amazon SEO specialist, and book marketing consultant. Analyze my Amazon book listing and provide detailed feedback on my title, subtitle, categories, keywords, cover design, A+ Content (if applicable), and book description. Identify weaknesses that may be limiting visibility or sales and provide specific recommendations to improve discoverability, click-through rate, and conversion rate. Book URL: [Paste URL Here] ➡️ Prompt #2: Description Conversion Optimization Act as a direct-response copywriter specializing in Amazon books. Review my book description and evaluate how well it captures attention, communicates benefits, creates emotional engagement, overcomes objections, and motivates a purchase. Rewrite the description to improve conversion rates while maintaining the original message and audience. ➡️ Prompt #3: Category & Keyword Opportunity Analysis Act as an Amazon KDP category and keyword strategist. Analyze my book and identify the most relevant categories and keyword opportunities. Recommend categories that may have lower competition while still being highly relevant to the book. Explain why each recommendation could improve visibility and ranking potential. Also provide 20 keyword phrases that potential readers may use when searching for books like mine. Book Title:[Paste Title] Book Subtitle:[Paste Subtitle] Book Description:[Paste Description] ⚠️ NOTE - Sometimes the prompts work fine other times, they will need some manual inputs. It appears sometimes AI has difficulty scraping Amazon or amazon has some limits. 💡 Remember: Publishing the book is only step one. Sometimes the difference between a book that sells a few copies per month and one that gains momentum comes down to improving the listing page that readers see before they click "Buy Now."

@Nick Nebelsky Yahhh...
Did you know that books have seasonality? 📚
One thing I’ve noticed after publishing multiple books 📚 over the years is that sales often start to climb in the fall and winter months… and then soften a bit during spring and summer. And honestly, it makes sense. When the weather gets colder, people spend more time indoors, scroll online more, listen to more audiobooks during commutes, and look for ways to learn, escape, or improve themselves. Meanwhile, spring and summer tend to shift attention toward vacations, outdoor activities, family events, and just being out living life. Even major retailers plan around this behavior. The publishing industry sees strong momentum during: ➡️ Back-to-school season ➡️ Q4 holiday shopping ➡️ New Year “new me” self-improvement season That’s why it’s important not to panic if your sales dip a little during warmer months. A slower season doesn’t automatically mean your book is failing. This is actually a GREAT time to: - Build your catalog - Improve your listings - Gather reviews - Optimize your keywords - Prepare for stronger Q4 traffic later in the year Think of it like planting seeds before the busy shopping season arrives. 🌱 Now I’m curious… Have you personally noticed certain times of year where you buy or read more books? Or do your habits stay the same year-round?
