LadyK: https://soundcloud.com/ladyk108 LadyK is a veritable musical force in the Comox Valley, Vancouver Island. She has been DJ'ing regularly for 15 years, producing for 7 years and producing the Sexy Lady Show for 3 years. Her musical vibe includes Afro and bass house, Amapiano, hip hop, r&b and more. During her own shows she DJ's throughout while also performing solos and doubles on the pole, as well as group finales. She competed nationally in the Canadian Pole and Aerial Championship in 2024, placing 3rd in her division. All of her performing dancers have also graced the national stage. LadyK and em.ash released an EP in 2023 on RF Records titled "Umusa," featuring remixes by Aspen King and Rennie Foster. She also has previous releases on Union Records as well as ISAVIS Records, both Italian labels. They are currently working on another EP featuring risque spoken-word poetry; the first track is entitled "My Sex is Electric." LadyK has been unabashedly expressing her own fierce sensuality in an effort to inspire others to do the same. This edition features a fully vinyl-focused program, with Andre Kronert and Markus Schwarz performing exclusively on vinyl through our meticulously tuned HK Audio High-Fidelity Sound System. For more than three decades, Andre Kronert has been quietly shaping underground electronic music. Based in Northern Germany, he is known for a distinctive sound that blends deep house, dub techno, and stripped-back club music with analogue warmth and uncompromising groove. With more than 100 releases and remixes to his name—including acclaimed records on Berg Audio—his productions have become staples in discerning record bags around the world. Joining Andre is Markus Schwarz, whose lifelong dedication to underground dance music and vinyl culture makes him a natural fit for the evening. 'The difference between play and performance - As a DJ I have a lot more freedom to present you with a curated experience or we can go on a very exploratory journey over a number of hours together. The DJ sets, I think, are more like a love language in terms of communicating with the dance floor.'
