A rubric is a simple scorecard. Each hustle could earn up to 35 points. I scored each one on: - Is it easy for a beginner? - Can you earn your first dollar fast? - Does it cost little to start? - Is there real proof people pay for it? - Do people want it right now? - Does it take little time each week? - Does your life experience give you an edge? Here is the ranked list: 1. Resume and LinkedIn help - 31 points 2. AI training workshops for small businesses and seniors - 30 points 3. Printable planners on Etsy - 29 points 4. Digital planners for tablets - 27 points 5. Social media help for local businesses - 27 points 6. Online tutoring and coaching - 27 points 7. Coloring books on Amazon - 27 points 8. Short video clips from long videos - 26 points 9. Printable wall art on Etsy - 25 points 10. Virtual assistant and bookkeeping help - 25 points Some popular ideas did not make the list. I left them off on purpose. The proof was weak, the market was too crowded, or a true beginner would need tech skills the list never mentions. Then I took the next step. I turned each one into a guide for someone starting from zero. Each guide defines the new words, shows the cost, shows how the money works, and gives you a plan for your first 7 days.
