After yesterdays wheel coming off completely I need to do a huge shout out to another Heather for coming to my rescue. At @Heather Di Rocco of Ai in Wonderland has worked some incredible magic to get things working for the Weekly Bulletin this week. So a big round of applause goes to her. I have no idea how she has done what she has done but she is a amazing at this sort of thing, whereas Im not. So a big round of applause to you Heather.

What A Shit Start 💩
Warning a rant is coming up but I am sharing this so I can be quite honest with you. I spent just about all my week end nutting out the next stage of my improvements to getting everyones events into the weekly bulletin to make it a much easier journey for us all. I polished up the template, created the google form and sheet, yes I know that gets automatically created from the form but I still had to do some extra formatting in there to make it work for canva bulk. Thinking I had nailed it, no I hadnt, I had issues with images, I had issues with the time showing correctly and some. But I was determined to get this launched for this week. I did no end of testing, with the form, the sheet and canva bulk create. At last everything was working, yippee I thought. So as you know I launched it. I got my first events registrations coming through and still had a glitch re the images but I sorted that. So I thought now I have a few registration forms in I would do the first bulk create. No.... canva decided not to. I spent ages last night trouble shooting, I have done so many things and it still didnt work. So I thought I would go to bed and perhaps the glitch will be gone in the morning. Well the glitch is still there and now Canva has stuffed up my template, everytime I go to recreate it the glitch is still causing problems with the template. Im now in tears as its Wednesday and I know a lot of events will be coming through . All that time and effort disappearing down the drain. Then to top it all a member asks me what the process was , so I give an explanation of post in the feed and if you want the event in the weekly bulletin , calendar and event classroom then she would need to join premium which is still back at $5. Well she churned stating she didnt believe in this method. Seriously the amount of time it takes me and my daughter plus Mary to get the events into the weekly bulletin, the calendar, the classroom and the flip book warrants far more than $5 per month, just being honest, but as we are still in our early phase $5 is where it is at whilst we are still developing and growing.

@Heather Wilson you are a gem of a human, and I'm so sorry you've run into these frustrations! As always, please let me know if there's anything I can do to help. And I recommend adding a "buy me a coffee" classroom like you did in The Skoolers' Library! I think many of us who see and understand that this VERY MUCH is worth more than the $5 monthly cost (or $50 annually) would be more than happy to send you an extra boost. ❤️ We love and appreciate you so much, and the work you do. Sending all the hugs and good vibes!

Free mastermind class on getting published
You wrote a thing. YAY! Now what? Jill Hart from The You World Order community has graciously invited me to be a guest presenter in her Monetize Your Mission mastermind, and you're invited to join me! **MARK YOUR CALENDAR: Thursday, June 11, 2:00 PM Mountain/4:00 PM Eastern.** You might already know you have more places to publish your work than just Substack, social media, or your blog. One thing many writers *don't* realize, though, is that once you publish something to one of your own platforms, you're stuck there. That's where most opportunities end. But there are so many places where your work can "live"—literary magazines, online publications, anthologies, contests, guest articles, and more. This will be an interactive mastermind session! We'll talk about the different publishing paths available to you as a writer, and how to make strategic decisions about where your work belongs. You'll learn: ✍️ The major publishing options available to writers today ✍️ The difference between self-publishing and submitting to publications ✍️ What "first publication rights" are and why they matter ✍️ How publishing on Substack, Medium, LinkedIn, or a blog can affect publishing opportunities ✍️ How to think strategically about where a specific piece of writing might fit This won't be a lecture. You'll be invited to choose one piece of writing—or even just an idea—and identify potential publishing paths based on your goals, publication history, and the type of work you've created. You'll leave with: ✅ Greater clarity about your publishing options ✅ A better understanding of publication rights ✅ A preliminary publishing pathway for one piece of writing ✅ A list of questions and next steps to help you move forward confidently There will also be plenty of time for questions, discussion, and hot-seat coaching. Whether you're publishing regularly on Substack, writing personal essays, working on creative nonfiction, building thought leadership content, or simply wondering what to do with your work, this session will help you make more informed publishing decisions before you hit publish. I hope to see you there!
