WHO IS HARDER TO COACH "HS VS PROS"
I was blessed with the opportunity to coach some professional guys this summer in the TBT tournament. My question for the community this morning is..... "What's harder? Coaching HS Athletes or Professional Athletes? Why? Ps: I know my answer, curios to know yours !!

@Daniel Cooper A lot of conversations and giving them the opportunity to have a voice ..whether it be the style of offense or how we defend ball screens …giving them a voice and actually implementing things that they are comfortable with was key !! For me, I feel as if this is what true coaching is about ..often time we ask athletes to get out of their comfort zone so we can stay in ours !!! The Above average coaches adjust and Lead with conviction.

I would say decision making, but the defense is typically playing with some sort of scout in mind, So If a player can't or can Dribble/Shoot the has a affect on how the defense plays which also then affects decision making. I hope this hits home and doesn't confuse.
The 5 Biggest Keys For Shooters
Over the past 5 weeks, My team and I have worked with 30+ High-Level High School, College, and NBA players. I've been fascinated by each player's individual constraints. It's been such a cool process dissecting each player's shot and helping guide them towards solutions. Through this process, we've identified 5 "non-negotiables" that regardless of variability, differential learning, and adaptability, if these 5 are constant, the basketball has a great chance of going in! 1. Hand placement (Shooting hand in the middle of the basketball) 2. Straight ball path (Up the body from the '1' Position, not swinging right or left) 3. Proper sequencing under the basketball as it stabilizes at the '2' position (body attaches under the ball when the 2 position is formed) 4. Straight Follow Through with pointer finger to the floor 5. Wide and Balanced Landing, shoulders forward on tippy toes What are your thoughts? Am I missing any? Do you know any GREAT shooter without these 5?
