Should have turned off my camera at the end. Weird setup I had with my laptop 🤦‍♀️. Too late

In Blender art the trend over the last few years (at least in my algorithm) does seems to be coming back around to a rougher, handmade look, partly in reaction against slick commercial look and ai. But on the computer you have to reverse engineer what makes something look handmade and figure out a technical process to achieve the effect. For whatever reason at present I find that more interesting than working with physical mediums, though maybe someday that will change. Looking forward to watching the Fr. Paul interview since I missed the premier. Father Moses McPherson gave me advice one time about learning accepting my personality instead of fighting it and thinking I should be like anyone else, which I think ties in with what you guys were talking about. Trying to take that to heart. It’s difficult.

Really cool discussion and exciting updates! I’m so encouraged to see how this is all coming together. I have a few big ideas for animation projects I would like to do, and you guys would be welcome to use any of the visuals. My main problem is it just takes so long to execute the ideas by myself. Anyway I sent one of the ideas to Manny on Instagram. Another other one (besides the Dostoevsky project), is a George Mac Donald fairy tale done in a medieval/early renaissance art style which I’m trying to come up with the character designs and prototype for so I can show people what i have in mind. The projects I choose are based on public domain works- so besides wanting to make great stories written by Christians accessible to a wider audience, there’s the perk of no copyright issues. Logos contacted me about making a show for their platform, but there’s no way I can do that by myself, so that’s not really even on the table at this point.

So happy to hear @Daniel Fleres is looking into blender! It's not too hard to get started. Don't be intimidated; it’s such and amazing, versatile free tool! There are tons of good YouTube tutorials and I might be down to do a demonstration sometime, too, if l can get past my social anxiety. I’m really hoping to collab with people in Blender in the future.
