IRs for Convolution
Hey! Wanted to share some favorite IRs for convolution. Maybe you know one or both: Echo Thief IR Library - I love this one! Strange spaces and structures make for great creative uses of Convolution. PS1 Reverb: Impulse Responses - Did you know the first Playstation had reverb built into the console? I didn't! Well for a pay-what-you-want price you can get the IRs of the PS1 reverb! They sound great! And note that it's only the first 4 tracks that you want (those are the IRs) the rest are more showcase examples. Convolution reverb is great, and one interesting approach is using Trash2 as a flexible creative convolution. With the moveable EQ, dynamics, distortion, and fx sections you can really explore wild textures and sound design with the convolution. Just note the convolution module in Trash2 truncates long IR samples, but you can still achieve a lot with it! Hmmm, now I wonder if you could design a similar setup in Bitwig Grid, for like a modular structure incorporating convolution with distortion, tone and dynamics shaping?

Thanks I just recently got to know echo thief. Will check that ps1, it's interesting. For IR I like to use fog convolver by Audio Thing, you can do a lot with it.
ARE YOU LIVING YOUR PURPOSE?
If YES, what is it? If NO, why not?
ARE YOU LIVING YOUR PURPOSE?

Most of my life I was searching my purpose, now from a distant perspective it seems that was a part of my purpose. To gain all that experiences, failures and trying all these "things". Realizing that the purpose was already clear at the very beginning. Kind of circle paradox. We walk in circle, but after each pass of that circle we are in the same place with different environment.
What are you working on? 😎
After the last 3 months of exploring a “all stock Ableton everything” fetish, I’ve just reinstalled a bunch of my plugins and have been having a blast making music like a mad scientist/kid in a candy store. I’m curious… what are YOU working on?

well I'm trying to learn more the bitwig grid. Inspired by your course, if I sit down to bitwig mostly to messing up in grid. The 32 bar idea was made in the majority by 2 polygrid patches. Now I want to make whole song from grid patch, mostly by assigning automation, and improvising.
