Itโ€™s basically teaching people something while keeping them interested enough to actually watch the video. Think education meets entertainment. The kind of video that makes someone laugh, think, or say โ€œoh, I never thought about it that way.โ€ Hereโ€™s how I approach it in my own videos: 1. ๐™๐™จ๐™š ๐™–๐™ฃ๐™–๐™ก๐™ค๐™œ๐™ž๐™š๐™จ ๐™ฅ๐™š๐™ค๐™ฅ๐™ก๐™š ๐™œ๐™š๐™ฉ โ€“ Compare your point to a movie everyone knows, a line from a song, or something in pop culture. It makes your message click instantly. 2. ๐™Ž๐™๐™–๐™ง๐™š ๐™– ๐™ฅ๐™š๐™ง๐™จ๐™ค๐™ฃ๐™–๐™ก ๐™จ๐™ฉ๐™ค๐™ง๐™ฎ โ€“ Even a tiny one. Relatable conversation improves learning. 3. ๐™‹๐™–๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™ฉ ๐™– ๐™ฅ๐™ž๐™˜๐™ฉ๐™ช๐™ง๐™š ๐™ฌ๐™ž๐™ฉ๐™ ๐™จ๐™ฉ๐™ค๐™ง๐™ฎ๐™ฉ๐™š๐™ก๐™ก๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™œ โ€“ Make them curious, make them feel something, or let them see the scene in their mind. 4. ๐™Ž๐™๐™ค๐™ฌ ๐™๐™ช๐™ข๐™ค๐™ง โ€“ Not forced, preferably not corny-LOL. Just the little things that make youโ€ฆyou. 5. ๐˜พ๐™๐™–๐™ฃ๐™œ๐™š ๐™ฉ๐™๐™š ๐™—๐™–๐™˜๐™ ๐™™๐™ง๐™ค๐™ฅ โ€“ Donโ€™t always shoot at your desk or standing in front of that same wall. Sometimes I'll record at the pond by our house, in front of a building with a cool mural or in the parking lot of the type of place you're talking about. 6. ๐™๐™จ๐™š ๐™ฅ๐™ง๐™š๐™ข๐™ž๐™ช๐™ข ๐™จ๐™ฉ๐™ค๐™˜๐™  ๐™ซ๐™ž๐™™๐™š๐™ค ๐™–๐™ฃ๐™™ ๐™ฉ๐™ง๐™–๐™ฃ๐™จ๐™ž๐™ฉ๐™ž๐™ค๐™ฃ๐™จ โ€“ Cut between you and premium stock video that represents what you're talking about. It keeps the energy up and makes the video feel more dynamic. The goal isnโ€™t just to teach. Itโ€™s to get people to watch the whole video, understand and remember it, and maybe even smile while theyโ€™re learning. Next time you shoot a video, think about where you record it, what story youโ€™re telling, and how you can add in humor or a visual twist. Moral of the story...don't be boring.

The good news? You donโ€™t need to drop a paycheck on studio gear to look like you actually know what youโ€™re doing. Here are 5 simple, budget-friendly ways to step up your lighting game: 1๏ธโƒฃ Face the window. Your best (and free) light source is the sun. Just donโ€™t sit with it behind you unless you want to look like a witness in a crime documentary. 2๏ธโƒฃ Bounce it. If the light feels too harsh, grab a white poster board or even a piece of foam core. Acts as an instant light diffuser. 3๏ธโƒฃ Add a lamp (strategically). Take that sad desk lamp in the corner and aim it toward your face at an angle. Warm bulbs beat the โ€œI live in a basementโ€ look. (Fun fact, sometimes I borrow my son's Super Mario lamp from his room) 4๏ธโƒฃ Get rid of overhead shadows. Overhead lighting makes everyone look like theyโ€™re telling ghost stories. Kill it with a lamp or ring light at eye level. 5๏ธโƒฃ Consistency is key. Mixing daylight and five different lamp shades makes you look like a patchwork quilt. Pick one type of light and stick with it. You donโ€™t need much to look good on camera. A little creativity, a few tweaks, and you're good to go.

The good news? You donโ€™t need a fancy studio setup to sound pro. Here are 5 easy (and cheap) ways to level up your audio: 1๏ธโƒฃ Quiet the room. Blankets, pillows, or even that pile of laundry you keep meaning to fold can absorb echo. Soft stuff = better sound. 2๏ธโƒฃ Use Krisp.ai. App that cancels out background noise on your laptop. Kids, dogs, coffee shop chaos. Itโ€™s like a mute button for your environment. 3๏ธโƒฃ Mic hack. If you donโ€™t have a mic, your earbuds probably have a better one than your laptop. Plug those in and call it an upgrade. 4๏ธโƒฃ Podcast.adobe.com. Works like magic with a night and day difference in sound. Upload your recording and it will clean, crisp, and improve your audio like youโ€™re in a studio. 5๏ธโƒฃ Stay close. Donโ€™t record across the room. Get that mic (or phone) 6โ€“12 inches from your mouth. Close = clear. Remember: people might forgive bad lighting, but theyโ€™ll bounce fast if your audio is trash.

The ones people remember are the ones they actually experience. Here are fivee ways to make your video content ๐™š๐™ญ๐™ฅ๐™š๐™ง๐™ž๐™š๐™ฃ๐™ฉ๐™ž๐™–๐™ก: 1. Add clickable elements or buttons. Give viewers something to do inside or right under your video like branded call-to-action buttons that make it easy to reply, book, or learn more. 2. Use animation and storytelling. Animated words, objects, sound effects, and music pull people in. Metaphors and storytelling spark emotion and help your message stick long after the video ends. 3. Go live. Live video creates real-time connection. Take questions verbally or in the chat and make them part of the experience. 4. Add music to the background of your video that showcases your brand personality and/or adds energy to the video. 5. Add tangible value they can walk away with that helps them or their business improve (a guide, a how-to-video, a resource link, the first chapter of your book or course, etc.) They will connect the value added experience to you and the video you sent. The goal isnโ€™t just to get someone to watch your video. Itโ€™s to make them feel something, do something, and remember it.
