Homework day 3
Slide one: hook( pain) Some days, the pain feels too big to bear. Slide two: struggle ( relatability) Every morning, you drag yourself to a job you do not like, pretending it’s fine, but inside, you’re drained. Slide three: next step (curiosity) You hit a breaking point, and suddenly, you realize you need something new. Slide four: reframe (hope) You begin channeling your energy into what you love, finding purpose in every step forward. Slide five: results ( inspiration) This is just the beginning step forward with confidence you can create a life you’re proud of With this structure I’m am trying to get the audience to feel ( struggle— pain — curiosity— inspiration) I’m not sure how to link my account šŸ˜… so you can view the story my ig is Alex.kral.568

S1: What pain? Get more specific S2: You are crossing into "you" territory when these should be "I" statements. Tell us YOUR story and what you're going through, so people can go "Oh! That happens to me too" S3: What is the breaking point? Breaking point from what? What is the something new? A new job? Hobby? Car? New Girlfriend? S4: What is the thing you are now channeling into? Again, these should be "I" statements. "I found passion again through speaking my voice and sharing content as a creator. Every Reel I post brings excitement and purpose" or whatever it is that you got into. S5: What was the step? How did you build confidence? Why are you proud now? Overall: I would redo this assignment. It is too vague and not specific at all to you or your story. The audience needs to hear your story and what you have been through, not you telling them what they should be doing. This is one of the things that you will learn as you continue to post is posting from a point of experience or authority. This type of story carousel speaks from authority. Why should your audience listen to you? The goal with an assignment like this is to build vulnerability and relatability with your audience so that you can eventually speak from authority to them, but even then you should stick to speaking from experience. I > you.

Solid recreation. A few critiques that I would give is that you could pan out/move the camera away a little better to capture all that you are typing out in the two shots. I would also make sure that your reaction shot lines up a little better with the audio. in your reel, you react and then the sound happens. It should be at the same time, or sound and then reaction with maybe 0.5 seconds in between.
Day 2 HW
Day 2: Homework https://www.instagram.com/reel/C061jnLOPkQ/?igsh=d2Via2ZoajN6bGtl https://www.instagram.com/reel/C4_3oKNMqjp/?igsh=Z20yazIxOGFkNGI5 https://www.instagram.com/reel/DRh-TSJD-Mc/?igsh=NHMweGE3NmJpeHdl https://www.instagram.com/reel/DUh--e6EoRI/?igsh=MWZwN3BhMTZjbTYxdA== https://www.instagram.com/reel/DYJskqcMWlA/?igsh=MXQwamh5cGpmNHh5OA== Hook 1: This opens up with emotional honesty and has someone saying the quiet part out loud. Being vulnerable creates relativity and retention. Hook 2: The viewers already have an assumption and the creator flips it completely. I think this one is so good and strong. Hook 3: she’s talks less about having babies and talks more about identity reconstruction which is very much my lane. Hook 4: it’s more cinematic and more reflective storytelling. It’s not a loud reel and doesn’t necessarily demand the attention others do but it has depth and intimacy. Hook 5: This one is very raw and relatable. Not shrinking myself just revealing internal tension underneath the ambition.

All of these are right up your lane, and could easily be recreated as you go through your own journey. Reels don't have to be flashy. They just have to be relatable/venerable. Especially reels 3, 4, and 5 could all be shot the exact same and they would work so well for you. Obviously, it doesn't have to be their workouts, but you could use their captions verbatim if needed, find your own b-roll clips to use, and tag a trending sound (or the same audio) that works well for the message you want to deliver. On reels 3 and 5, if you recreate them, shorten the length of the clips used in comparison to the mothers in those videos. This will lead to a shorter reel for you, but also a higher view/retention time which will help push the reel.

Do you have the script and story carousel to share with this?

3 days in and more than doubled my views in the professional dashboard. Added 10 new followers. Small wins but I'm seeing signs of momentum.
