I started my day in the best possible way
A 1:1 meeting with @David Iya Sharing this makes me a bit nervous because once people truly understand who this man is (his expertise, his character, his heart for community), he's going to be even busier than he already is. He might need to clone himself. During our call, I witnessed something extraordinary. As one of my first official Skool meetings, I got to see him hit page 1 in real time. He was scrolling, saw it happen, and we both froze. The man may have teared up. I definitely did. His first words? "I can't wait to show my wife." That moment showed me exactly who David is as a person. I'm certain this wasn't his first major win and won't be his last. Working with him, I know it won't be my last either. Onwards and upwards, @DavidIya I'm supper happy what you achieved today.

Lesson #5: Why I Give Thanks for 60 Seconds Every Day πŸ“š
Every single day, I spend 60 seconds giving thanks. That's it. One minute. And here's what I've noticed: by the end, I'm never out of things to be grateful for. I start with the obvious stuff; my family, my health, my bed, my pets. But then it goes deeper. The people in this community. The opportunities I have today. The fact that I woke up with a roof over my head and food in the fridge. Every single time the 60 seconds is up, I find myself thinking of more. πŸ“• Here's why this matters: Studies show that people who practice daily gratitude experience: - 25% increase in happiness levels - Better sleep quality - Stronger immune systems - Improved relationships - Lower stress and anxiety Gratitude isn't just a feel good practice. It shifts our perspectives. It enhances our lives. Try this for the next 7 days: 1. Every day you wake up. Set a timer for 60 seconds. 2. Think of everything you're grateful for. 3. Speak them outloud. Don't stop until the timer goes off. You'll be surprised how much you have. What's one thing you're grateful for today? Drop it below. πŸ‘‡ If someone comments and you're thankful for that person, let them know too.

β€œGAINREP” phished me in a very sophisticated reference setup today
If you receive an email from a known person via β€œGAINREP” asking you to provide a reference, delete it. Myself and another government employee who is departing the government have been good friends for over 20 years and when I got the request, it seemed logical because she is looking for work and it looked like a legitimate professional platform with a recent photo I recognized from her email header. turns out a few days ago. She also received a similar email from somebody else we know who is also leaving the government, and filled out the request for a professional reference. The service stole her profile picture off of Google mail so it looked like she had an account set up with them. Then it started emailing request out to all her contacts. She didn’t find out about this until today. I think now all my contacts have been taken out of my email as well as my photo …. I am now undoing a giant mess. I got suspicious when the site asked for a $7.99 charge after I had already submitted her professional review and I immediately stopped what I was doing and started googling. Unfortunately, I was had. I feel really stupid especially because I consider myself pretty security aware, but they got me!😭

Q&A Thread for experienced founders, Business owners, SaaS builders, and app developers
Two part question for all the experienced founders, Business owners, SaaS builders, and app developers here. **Be sure to answer part two! It is critical.** PART 1: What’s one lesson you’d quietly pass to someone just starting out that could help them avoid a costly or stressful mistake? PART 2: Please include the country you operate in so others understand the regulatory context, and keep it to general lessons or pointers on where to look, not legal or tax advice. I want this thread to stay open and not get deleted.

@Theresa Elliott oh I have to think a long way back, I think when I started what surprised me was how many things you had to watch out for at the same time, how every action has an equal and opposite reaction - Newtons law I think
