App Progress Continues as Next Live Cohort Nears
Reminder that the next live cohort launches on August 23! CSCS Accelerator Quiz App: What's New Hey everyone! I've been busy behind the scenes improving the quiz platform. Here's what's new: Login here: https://cscs-accel-quiz-platform.vercel.app (CSCS Cohort Students only) 📚 The Question Bank More Than Doubled This is the big one. We went from ~3,200 questions to over 7,700. That's more than double the practice material, covering all 24 chapters across both Scientific Foundations and Practical Applications. BUT it wasn't just adding more questions. I did a full quality audit of the entire bank. Every question was reviewed and revised for: - Distractor quality: wrong answer choices that were too obvious or easy to eliminate got rewritten to be genuinely plausible - Stem clarity: confusing or poorly worded question stems were cleaned up - Cognitive level accuracy: questions are now correctly tagged as Recall, Analysis, or Application, so when you filter by cognitive level you're actually getting what you asked for - 2025 DCO alignment: every question is tagged to the current NSCA Detailed Content Outline, so your domain and content area accuracy tracking reflects the actual exam blueprint This took a very long time, multiple GPT engines, and I think I launched over 200 AI agents trained on my original (and best) question banks and guided by the DCO. I'll share a screenshot of my token burn later 😅. For now, here's a screenshot of the # of questions in each category. Flag Questions for Review: You can now flag any question during a quiz with the flag button. Flagged questions show an amber dot in the question navigator and a special badge in your results review, so you can easily come back to anything that stumped you or seemed off. First-Time Login Is Finally Fixed I completely overhauled how new users get into the app (on the back end). For you, it probably looks the same. The old invite link system had a nasty bug that's now fixed. Invite and password-reset links now work reliably. And if you ever need to get in for the first time or reset your password, there's a "First time here?" link right on the login page — no need to contact anyone, it'll send you a fresh link instantly.

@Conor Arthur That was my bad. I had my "development" version of the app open when I copied the link over. If you had typed the link in to your browser, it would have worked. But now clicking it should work too. Thanks for letting me know.
CSCS Quiz App - How to Log In
Hey everyone, I just sent an email to all CSCS Accelerator Course members with instructions for logging into the CSCS Accelerator quiz platform. If you've been having trouble getting in, I've fixed the login setup and it should work smoothly now. What to do: 1. Check your inbox for an email from [email protected] 2. If you don't see it, check your spam folder — transactional emails from new domains often land there 3. Follow the instructions in the email to log in with the temporary password Login URL: https://cscs-accel-quiz-platform.vercel.app If you run into any issues, here are some potential fixes: - Try "Forgot your password?" on the login page — this sends a reset link to your email and lets you set a new password - Make sure you use the email that the original email was sent to. Any other email will not work. - Sign out and sign back in if you're already in the app but something looks off - Try an incognito/private browser window — this clears any cached login state that might be causing issues - Try a different browser if none of the above work If you're still stuck after trying these, reply to this email, and I'll get you sorted. — Dr. Goodin

The CSCS Accelerator Quiz App
It wasn't on my 2026 bingo card to add "App Developer" to my resume. But then Canvas crashed, and with that, we lost one of the most robust features of our CSCS Accelerator Course, one that I had put HUNDREDS of hours into curating. The Canvas Quiz platform was robust enough to handle question and answer randomization, immediate vs delayed feedback, multiple question banks, and many other useful learning features. And as hard as I've tried, I haven't found a better platform for our CSCS practice quizzes and practice exams. So I built my own. And CSCS Accelerator Course members get access to it. TODAY. Look for an email with the heading "Welcome to the CSCS Accelerator Quiz App." It contains a link that expires within 24 hours (Why does it expire? Because I couldn't figure out how to change that setting. If you miss it, just let me know). Once you sign up, start your practice! And please know that this is a web-based, beta version of the app. There are still features I'm working on, some formatting issues, and possibly some user interface issues. But by and large, it's ready to rock. If you are interested in joining the next cohort of the CSCS Accelerator Course before it fills up, you can find all the details here: https://www.drjacobgoodin.com/ The live sessions kick off August 3rd, but once you sign up you'll gain immediate access to the course, as well as the Accelerator Quiz App ahead of public release.

@Javier Villegas @Alli Thul shoot! I thought I had fixed all the issues. I will be back in the app this evening to think of a workaround.
New Quiz Feature: Daily Goal
You can now set your daily question goal and watch as the green bars stack up while you put in the reps. Reminder: The CSCS Accelerator Quiz App is in beta. Thank you for those who are reporting bugs to me—it's very helpful! Reminder #2: Early access to the next cohort is open to all community members.
