Having surfed a lot of sessions at Surf Lakes - it is WAY easier for me in our pool, but other pools are fun too. Nothing beats the ocean for overall beauty, and when you get a good one it is amazing. But for catching and riding waves, it is hard to beat 10 perfect waves per hour, with nobody dropping in, no clean up sets, no rocks/reefs, no sharks etc etc
