Upgrade my Skills
Hi Friends, I am looking for a certification program that I can get certified as a mindset coach and hopefully if I'm lucky I can find a program that also certifies students in various modalities used in coaching, like NLP, EFT Tapping, Breathwork, Positive language, energetic healing, etc. If necessary, I can discuss a payment plan or whatever if financial aid is not available. I would looking for a sliding scale payment plan. I want to have credibility with clients where they see me as an expertise in my field. Having proper certifications will build rapport with clients, prove to others that you are qualified to give this advice or recommend a particular exercise, and backs up every word uttered from my lips as truth. If anyone has any suggestions of certification programs or alternatives to regular certification programs, please leave some advice in the comments. This community exists solely for networking and helping each other be successful, equally, without competition and there's a sense of mutual respect and the concept that we are helping each other reach the same finish line but on different time-frames. Everybody wins because nobody loses. I look forward to hearing from y'all. If you want to have a discussion, please send me DM. Ps I am also trying to get certified in Reiki as well if you know how to go about this.

Looking out of the small window where I am currently working in Nicaragua, I see a large mango tree. Some of the fruits have a lovely red color, but frustratingly, they are not ready to eat yet. By the time they drop, we will be gone, and they will be food for the ants. So, I am thinking about timing, cycles and patience. Our Western culture has been dominated by male rationality since the Greeks made breakthroughs in logic and linear thought. The Industrial Revolution cemented these values by conquering the Earth, wrapping her in steel train tracks that, for the first time, synchronized clocks across all English towns and eventually the entire world. But nature doesn’t run according to Google Calendar. The true reality is seasons and cycles. Your body, its organs, and cells listen to circadian rhythms. Our planet is guided by the sun and moon on its journey through space. Our sun itself orbits the center of the Milky Way galaxy around a supermassive black hole called, unromantically, Sagittarius A. This immense cycle, known as a galactic year, takes a mind-blowing 225–250 million Earth years to complete. Understandably, this deep-time knowledge makes mankind a bit weak at the knees, so we have clung to the safety of science and Western thinking, much like the Catholic missionaries in the 15th century held onto their rosaries and prayed when risking their lives in Africa. The truth is, we must rediscover and embrace the cycles and rhythms of life, understanding that there is a time to sow and a time to harvest. When you learn to listen for these moments in your own life, you will start to understand that what is yours will come to you—only, though, if you have cultivated the patience to listen, just as a farmer cultivates his soil before planting. You probably know well that grass will not grow faster if you pull on it, even if you chant the most powerful abundance mantras. So, instead of being a productivity monster—taking ice baths at 5 a.m. and drinking bulletproof coffee in an attempt to profit from the grind—learn to listen so you can place yourself in the right place at the right time. Listen in the stillness of meditation. During your forest walk or immersed in a downward dog during yoga. Then, with one small push, doors will open for you, paths will appear before your feet, and you will know the universe to be truly magical and utterly abundant.

I really felt an energy from this post and it really spoke to me and has given me quite a bit to think about because it's crazy that I have been learning about cycles in life and divine timing. Each day we have before us is a type of cycle that you can safely say restarts every morning. One thing must come to an end in order for anything new to form. A tree can't grow new when it has the old bark and leaves still attached. This tree must shed it's bark and leaves in order for it to grow taller and wider. If the old bark is not shedded to make room for new bark and the tree's overall growth, eventually it will start experiencing problems due to crowding of the tree. The tree grows and from that growth develops it's new bark. It's like a snake shedding it's skin because it outgrew it's current vessel. Same way of thinking when considering the topic of "cycles" or "seasons" in life. We function and thrive in a gigantic cycle of life. We rely on cycles in life for growth, guidance, and schedules plus so many other functions that use cycles. Change is healthy and is essential for growth and personal development. Just like the tree, a person needs cycles or seasons in order to promote growth and development. If the body does not go through changes/cycles, then there won't be any room for growth or anything else for that matter. The mind-body must go through physical changes in order to promote new to growth to develop. These cycles or seasons of a person's life will in fact influence the individual's most sacred and deeply-rooted values, morals, beliefs, standards and creeds... Without these seasons of life, without cycles in our lives, most people would be stuck in a rut for most of their lives all because they were never given the chance to restart again. Nothing can be perfect, but if you can be given the opportunity to get a new start to retry to build a better you, using the information gathered from the previous attempt to get it right, you can adjust and tweak things here and there in order to apply the knowledge you gathered from the lesson learned from the previous cycle. The problem is the focus to zero in on that you intend to change during this cycle...or maybe the "problem" isn't really a problem but more so a difficult task, behavior, belief or anything else that can be changed, amended, replaced or deleted. Maybe the problem is that you bite your nails and during this season my goal is to stop biting them by a specific deadline or something like that. Against popular opinion, anyone and most anything can be changed, adapted or stopped, even though the saying goes that you can't teach an old dog new tricks, which is totally INACCURATE. Most anybody can learn new skills at any age but not every skill is appropriate for for every age group. If you think you can't, then your right.....,right? Dont set yourself up for failure or almost failure by dismissing your own talents and abilities, most in which are not even self-discovered talents yet and because you are not self confident and dont believe in your ability to do anything you want to do, you are potentially throwing away skills that the world may need without even realizing it, all because you didn't take a chance on yourself. I will take a chance on me, no matter how scary it feels to be out here on the line, risking personal damage to myself and my self esteem but also getting too critical of myself that I have trouble staying out of my way. Cycles keep the flow moving effortlessly. Everything is automatic and are done without consciously thinking about it. Cycles and seasons keep the balance on Earth equal. No risk equals no reward but some risk, pleasant reward. Each cycle or season compliments the previous one by correcting issues and applying new knowledge to restart a cycle.
