Day 6 Accountability
Todayโ€™s focus was to start taking more steps to get myself exercising again. Iโ€™m not a fan of walking as itโ€™s a bit boring, but I need to get more steps into my daily routine. Also, I was walking on a bridge. ๐Ÿ˜…

I would like to delete social media, but because I actively create content, it doesnโ€™t really make sense to do that. So, I just need to minimise my usage and spend more time creating rather than consuming and getting distracted by it. Thanks for the suggestion, I will check that app out. Yes, I want to get rid of the weight as quick as possible.

Week 2 - Roleplay feedback
Productive day today. Iโ€™ve learned a lot from todayโ€™s role-play call, which really pushed me out of my comfort zone. Speaking on the spot is something Iโ€™ve always struggled with, I often find myself going blank or losing my train of thought. Todayโ€™s session was a Dragons Den style exercise (Iโ€™ve never done one before and was panicking deep down). We had to pitch a social media app to a customer over the phone. Since I have phone anxiety, this was definitely a challenge for me. Itโ€™s something Iโ€™ve noticed at work too, I tend to take calls in a meeting room rather than out in the open, because I worry about making mistakes and looking dumb. Thatโ€™s why Iโ€™m really glad I took part today. I received some great feedback. I tend to over-talk after asking a question instead of giving the other person space to respond. Thatโ€™s something Iโ€™ll be actively working on going forward. Overall, it was a great session and Iโ€™m genuinely proud of myself for stepping up and pushing through something I find difficult. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ

Yes, Iโ€™m definitely going to buy all of them @Aadam Afzal and start my collection. I need the Mercedes, McLaren, and Red Bull ones. If you find a DHgate link, let me know.๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ˜
Todayโ€™s Weekly Session Reflection (19.04)
We started off todayโ€™s session with a brief rundown of what week 2 entails. We looked at the many ways our patterns formed. In my case, school and general interactions played a huge part in me becoming a shrinker due to constantly replaying certain moments in my head. We then moved onto the roleplay aspect of todayโ€™s call which focussed on how we act under pressure and there was no better way to do this than a Cold call pitch. We started off pitching for a productivity app (Anti Brainrot) and this was done in 2 ways. The first way was for the prospect to agree with our pitch and make it smooth sailing for the pitcher. This was to see how we communicate in general. The second way was for the prospect to give the pitcher a bit of a hard time through hesitation, blankness and disagreement to see how we can improvise in pressured situations. This was extremely helpful for me as I now know what to improve on, For example, for the first way, Dino noticed that I started grouping my sentences together and speaking fast which would have led to the caller feeling completely lost and or overwhelmed and I sadly repeated this on the second one. Nonetheless, this gave me good insight on what to improve on for future interactions and situations in which I may encounter this. If you want to improve on the ways you communicate or struggle to know what your commumication flaws are, Iโ€™d highly recommend you join these calls as not only to they provide great practice, but they also allow you to know what you could improve. Little reminder, communication is like anything else practice makes perfect (Thereโ€™s always room for improvement).

How to stop relying on confidence from big wins
This is something Iโ€™ve struggled with this past month , Iโ€™ve not booked any meetings this month and itโ€™s come through in my energy, attitude and belief that Iโ€™m not cut out for this I also have been losing a lot in padel , I played a tournament and lost all the games However last month I won a padel tournament and booked a meeting and felt like I was that guy and it showed up in the way I spoke to people , played padel and approached obstacles How do I keep consistent confidence even when things are tough ?

You have to have gratitude for the things youโ€™ve already accomplished. Having the job youโ€™re in is a big achievement in itself and just being in that environment with others is something to be proud of. Always remember the journey and appreciate both the wins and the knockbacks along the way, they all shape your growth. Stay positive and keep going!๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿพ Failure is only temporary. Keep going and youโ€™ll be hitting your targets and smashing it in no time.๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ @Aadam Afzal
Day 5 Accountability
Didnโ€™t do much today, just recharged and took it easy. Not every day has to be productive, but showing up still counts. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ
