The Beginning of Something New
Hey friends 👋 I’ve got something to share...something that’s both bittersweet and empowering: I’ll be archiving this Skool community soon. Here’s why: For months , this space has been my home, I’ve seen so many of you chase clarity, launch offers, dial in skills, grind so hard. You’ve taught me what it means to lean in toward better work, better identity, better impact. And in helping you, I found my own clarity too. I realized what lights me up isn’t just building systems or growing a business... it’s helping those quiet, capable technical experts step into leadership… without faking it or losing themselves. That's my old me. Navigating between my high technical expertise, my will to do more, and my imposter syndrome knocking at the door at each meeting, despite having built a successful startup, hired 30 ppl and while dealing with project dev, biz strategy, etc. That realization means my mission has shifted. ➡️ Today marks the beginning of a new era: One where I’ll show up focused on helping people who’ve been building a technical expertise quietly, struggling to find their seat at the table, waking up every morning knowing they’re ready to do more on the inside, and helping the world see it too. 🙋‍♂️ I see you if: - You’ve built the tech, you’ve solved the problems… but you’re still not being invited to lead. - You feel ready, but something in you whispers "I'm not." - You’re tired of your potential hiding behind bug fixes and sprints, architecture building, databases... - You want to lead without becoming that boss you always hated (I see you, the loud, authoritative "manager") So, what’s next: This move doesn’t mean I step ou completely. I’ll still be in your DMs, commenting on your wins, and here if you need me. But my main focus, and my main space, will be here. 📌 A dedicated community and program for technical pros who: - Know they’re more than code, more than a database expert, more than a cloud builder - Want to be recognized and stepped into leadership - Want systems, habits, and mindset shifts to back up their ambition

@Sylvain Zyssman so powerful to do the right thing for YOURSELF. congratulations for this step! 🎉
“I’m not trying to make friends. I’m trying to make money.”
You know that quote from Shark Tank's Kevin O'Leary? What's your reaction when you read that? Are you here for money only? Here's my take: Some of us aren’t here JUST to make money. I'm trying to make both. Money and mission should not be ennemies. I want to get paid to do work that means something, with people who actually respect it. I'm here to build something honest, and work with people who get it. Of course, not every client needs to become a soulmate, but am I building a business where I have to put on a mask just to sell? Nah... I want ease. Respect. Creative freedom. Real results. All of this starts with being honest about what I offer, how I work, and why it matters. You don’t need to fake authority. You don’t need to shout louder. You just need a message that reflects your real value, without faking who you are. That’s how you attract the right clients. The ones who respect your process. Pay your worth. And stay. If that makes me “too soft” for IG / Linkedin, hustle bros, I'm fine with it. I’m not here to scale. I’m here to help and serve, while being paid well doing it. What's your mission?

just look at his angry face. 🤷‍♀️ Actually I would even add: I enjoy to do what I love to do, with amazing people AND get paid well for it.

Next French baking session!
Guys and gals, it's been 27 days since our last bake-off, and it was AWESOME! We made crêpes with different fillings - lemon and sprinkled sugar, rum and raisin, caviar and cream... Just writing about them is making me drool 🤤 Time to hype it up again for the next session and pick a date :D Comment below on what we could bake next! Looking forward already 🔥 P.S. Incidentally, tomorrow is the start of Russian Pancake Week (they call it Maslenitsa - Масленица) - so there's that to look forward to :)

Members skills directory
In a spirit of "I can teach/I'd like to learn", I'd like to gather members' main skills here. 2 things: - 2 members can have the same (or overlapping skills), that's not a problem. You all have your own approaches, experiences, and skills - That should not replace you joining the member's community, including the premium one if you can afford it and you find value in it. Let's respect each other, and create a real win-win That being said, if you comment your main skill, I'll add it, with your name, in this post. Don't shameless promote your community, we all know where to find you if needed. @Sylvain Zyssman thank you for open the space for this. I am a strategist and storyteller at heart, with 30 years of experience in product and service development behind me. I can help you connect the dots in ways you haven’t seen before—or simply provide feedback on what you currently have (everything CX, UX) and assess how likely it is that a potential customer truly understands what you're trying to convey or sell. Sparring for Your Business Strategy—covering everything that involves people: customers, employees, and business partners.

@Ren Tyler hi, more strategy and CX, yet i have 30 years product and service development in my bags (concept, strategy, research, name it… including doing the sh… and taking care of QA if needed.) You simply will not ask the question… the list is really loooong. 🤣🤣 things that you might know from the last few years before i stopped DFY: 🚛 routing and navigation for long haul e-trucks including logistics and driver regulations and bringing this together with technically not advanced early models 🚗 personalization concepts for one of the german car manufacturers in general helping organizations not to just “do things digitally” yet also to use digital/ service to their benefit as well as their customers… some named me “client whisperer” 😉
