@Grant Richardson that's wicked helpful bud, thank you. As you were talking about bedding areas all these spots I know of are coming to mind, and I'll definitely utilize this. And yeah, we got alot of lions, wolves, grizzly, wolverines, and the scariest one, skunks.

Building bowstrings with Grampa
Our daughter spent a day building Flemish strings with her grampa. One of the great parts of the immersive process of traditional archery and Bowhunting is the DIY component. The string jig in this post was built by my dad almost 31 years ago. All my strings since then were made on it - this is history… heritage. Do you build your own strings?

Hot melt
What is the hot melt that you use for inserts in carbon arrows . I have tried different ones with minimal success over time. The latest one is gorilla hot melt sticks from the hardware store. I have ordered some from iron will and am going to try it also.

Gorilla hot melt is great, but cleaning and scoring components properly often gets overlooked. No glue will hold your insert in through hard use if not prepped right. I use a 22 cal brass bore brush in my drill to give a quick score inside the arrow shaft, then I clean the dirt out of it with a q tip and alcohol. Give the insert a quick wipe too. No more lost points.

@Jamie Robinson yeah bud, works great. Just remember that your only trying to scuff the inside dont go too hard. And clean up is key. I use vodka.

I like the material, the sleeves are a bit weird but they don't get in the way of my shot so it's great

@Jenn Richardson thanks, haha shes a good dog. By weird I just mean the underarm part seems short. When I raise my arms to the side about 30 percent of the way up the whole shirt starts lifting. It's very soft, it probably wouldn't stop me from ordering another, just never had that before.
