Hi @Kylie Kelly I offered a free Mother’s Day workshop today and wanted to share a quick reflection and ask for your perspective. Out of a list of 416, 10 women registered and 5 attended live. I recorded it and I’m planning to send the replay to the full list since the goal was genuinely to offer support around Mother’s Day. What struck me most was what happened at the end of workshop when I stopped recording and invited Q&A and sharing. All of the women stayed. Most were off camera, several cried, and they spoke very openly about how alone they feel and how little support they receive in real life. Several of them said they don’t really have another space where they feel this understood or supported. So in many ways, today felt like very strong validation that this work is deeply needed and that what I’m offering has value. At the end, I shared a survey asking what workshop topics and types of support would be most helpful for them. I’ll also include the survey when I send the replay to the mailing list. At this point, my instinct is to temporarily pause the larger program and focus instead on low ticket smaller, practical workshops around specific pain points , later offering alongside a very low-cost community ($7/month) with biweekly support calls where women can share and feel less alone. My question is this: Why attendance numbers this low,? Is this simply part of the reality of building in a grief/loss niche where people deeply need support but often struggle to engage consistently? I think I’m trying to understand what I may be missing strategically. If the need is clearly there, why is the conversion into participation still so low? Would love your thoughts.
