Half lash set
Heyyy, I have a client wanting to try a half lash set but I’ve never done one before. Has anybody got any tips or tutorials? I only use pre mades and have in c,cc curls to mix but my shortest length is a 9 and I’m thinking it needs to be about a 7/8? She has lots of natural lashes could I use shorter 7-8 lengths in classics and filter into premade s?

Did you manage to find the half lash tutorial? It's inside the lash extension library and shows exactly how I do my half sets 🥰
Opal Lash Conference
Hey everyone, I have a ticket for this event but can no longer make it. Can anyone make use of the ticket in return for a small donation of your choosing to my husband's Cancer Research fundraiser? It's a great day for networking and learning, everyone is incredibly welcoming. Includes the evening event and 3 course dinner. It's on Saturday 11th October @Double Tree by Hilton, London Elstree. Easy to drive to and plenty of parking.

oh noooo how sad you can't go anymore! But what a wonderful thing you're offering instead 🥰 hopefully someone can make it in your place 💘
Advice
Hi all have my first client on Monday evening for classic extensions. Such low confidence at the moment I don’t know if to cancel until I’ve had more training. Any tips or advice? Worried about the time will it take? If she had any allergic reactions? Don’t want to not do a good job as it’s for her holidays?

@Sarah Thompson of course post your pics!! I think with the tape back method it's a case of finding a good quality tape that isn't too sticky and getting used to it, I use the blue tape from LashBase for it as it's more gel like so doesn't pull the lashes off, but you can always hold the lash with some tweezers whilst you pull! it's the tapes that are super sticky (great for under the eye) that you wanna avoid cos it's too much! the videos on lash mapping & layering in the lash tutorial library will really help you with that 💘

@Sarah Thompson what is it you'd like more training in?

Hey Georgia! so for wispy lashes what I've always done is actually 'stack' the lashes as I prefer how this looks compared to just 1 longer lash if that makes sense? But you can watch all of my fave wispy lash techniques & how I do my sets in the Wispy Lash Tutorial 🥰
Lash bed or recliner chair..?
Hi everyone! I’m looking at getting a recliner chair to lash from to save some space in my cabin and was wanting peoples opinions? Does anyone use one or have pros and cons for both? Thank youuuuu 🫶🏻

veryyyyy good question and I do think it depends on how you work / what treatments you offer Recliner Chair - things to consider - way easier for clients to get on - better for pregnant clients as they're never laid flat on their back for too long - can be tricky if clients don't sit still as their weight is what keeps them reclined so it can come back up if they move round - doesn't have any space around to leave your things like lash tiles Flat bed things to consider - harder to get on for some clients - has wayyyy more space around clients head for pillows/trays to leave stuff on - IMO better for filming as a flat bed stays still more - not as comfy straight away usually have to buy more layers of padding etc I personally always used a recliner chair which I did love cos I'm short but I always hated how little space I had to leave stuff around me, I swapped to a lash bed for filming and have to say I do love it!!
