Why did the barber cross the road
Okay, so I'm working tonight and I tell jokes to engage my customers while I'm twisting balloons. Every now and then a customer will tell me a joke. This is the one a little girl told me. Why? Because he was looking for a short cut

Can you turn your vocation into a vacation?
I am in the process of going from working from home to working out of an office. At the beginning of this year I made a commitment to treat my business seriously and not just as a hobby. So, in January 2026 I rented a one-room office in an executive office suites building. I am slowly transitioning from working at home to working out of the office. As I am moving things, I came across a journal from 2009. and I open the journal to a random page. I came across an entry where I was talking about making a commitment to my business. That was more than 16 years ago. I finally did it. The biggest lesson for me after reading that entry is that there is a huge difference between thinking about making a commitment and making a commitment. And that goes for everything. Thinking about something, and doing it are two different things. But the most interesting thing that caught my attention from that journal was a phrase I had written that made me put the journal down and start writing this post "Make your vocation, is your vacation." As the saying goes, if you're doing what you love to do, it ain't work. I Googled for the meaning of the word vocation. This is what it says: A strong feeling of suitability for a particular career or occupation. FEELING OF SUITABILITY In other words, something you enjoy doing. If you enjoy what you're doing to earn an income, you don't feel the need to escape from it, or take a vacation. Doyou agree? If you could choose a vocation, what would it be? @Rasheed Hooda BULLCRAP is right!!!!! I never take vacations because I don't need to. I take time away from the office, but I never "need" a vacation. That is freedom.

Idea to Impact
Let me tell you about the Team J.E.T. @Justin Yup, @Eileen MacDonell and @Tanya Fox are an amazing trio of human beings, Hell-bent on changing the world, or at least the way we do business. As a team, they started a community called Idea to Impac. The guiding principle behind the community is to help entrepreneurs succeed in an unconventional way. You might even say, an ethical way Last week I attended a FREE master class that they offered. I WAS BLOWN AWAY. Since then I have attended some of the networking events they hold on the Skool platform, and to say that I am impressed is an understatement. In the world of hustle and grind, they are a gust fresh air, which fits me just fine. These are three marketing and networking professionals who know how to get the job done. Except they're not into hustle and grind, they prefer peace of mind. Don't take my word for it. Check out the community for yourself and find out. I have already committed to be a member of the incubators, people who are taking advantage of their introductory offer which was a no-brainer for me considering the price and the promised outcome, and their commitment to see you through. They have scheduled another master class that I'm going to miss, and I hate it, but I would highly recommend for you to take a peek. It's FREE. It is not your typical sales presentation. It's an educational session about notion that THERE IS ANOTHER WAY, and it does not require manipulation and deceit. https://www.skool.com/idea-to-impact-masterclass-8424/thursday7pmestmasterclass-2?p=e19e1273

Thanks so much for sharing your experience, Rasheed! This means so much that we are seen exactly as we are. 🫶
Highlighting another aligned Community Leader
A couple of days ago I popped into Eileen MacDonell's Shift Sesh. It's an open invitation for you to get coached. Her community is very new on Skool, so I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to get on the hot seat. And boy did it ever get hot! Eileen's superpower is to be a mirror, and let you see yourself without the mask that you put on for the rest of the world. She has a knack for listening attentively and asking the right questions to help you see what you already know but are refusing acknowledge. Like I said, her community is relatively new, so I had an extended opportunity and I would highly recommend that you join her community and take advantage of not only having the opportunity to be on the hot seat, but she also offers a complimentary 45 minutes to help you smash your blocks. It's a genuine full on coaching session, not a sales presentation. But I must warn you, unless you're ready to be punched in the face (in a good way) with the truth about yourself, don't even think about booking a call with. Here is the link to join her community. The ShiftShow You can tell her I sent you.
