Today was the sixth round of my tournament I played a 1717, who didn't seem to be doing really well, for example he lost against a 1538 and the three wins comes with 1399 He played a CaroKann, as i expected, and he allowed me to play Ne5, attacking the bishop, which Is supposed to be good for white, with still work to do of course And after Bd3 he felt into my little trap of the poisoned d4 pawn And then i sacraficed THE KNIGHT! I mean It's not that brilliant😂, it's basically theory if black make a mistake Now i saw this line like 30 minutes before the round, being like, wait isn't d4 hanging, oh okok not really, and i saw the line... After Qe5+... I don't really remember but i think Ne2!!? Was better... Disallowing him to have Bb4 with eventual sacrafice, (Bxe2 Is met with Ng6) Anyway this should be still better, almost winning for white, i won exchange for 2 pawns (still complicated)... But then after some exchanges... Rg8 Rg1 Bf5?? O-O-O+!!! Stunning winning a piece So he wasn't really in his best performance, and also he began tournament recently, so maybe he got that 1717 which doesn't really reflects his real streght (maybe he got luck in a tournament 🤷🏻)
