Making some space for what we do want also...
I find that the thing I have had the most training and practice in is pointing my face at the things I don't want, describing them in such detail, analyzing how and why they are happening, etc. It takes real effort and intention to point my face towards something I do want, even if it the smallest little crumb of desire or pleasure, even as small as buying a bag of candy that sparks one little sliver of pleasure, when you do something like that, it grows, and if that is something that sounds fun to you, I encourage you to "pay" a little attention each day to the things you do want and see what happens. This thing by pea the fairy is a stunning portrayal of what we've all been trained to do...take anything you don't like as meaningless, take anything you do as a sign straight from the universe, divine contact, for example, today my kiddo gave me an octopus that he made in his 3d printer, today that is confirmation that I am known and loved. Loads of other things happened today, a few which I could take as meaning that I am a problem, worthless, useless, etc. But they are only important if I want them to be. Whatever you think is important, that is what is important π xo, z
