@Janet Wilson Sorry to hear about your son. I have been a farrier since 1987. I was the second American to achieve my Fellowship of the Worshipful Company of Farriers, and the only one to every serve as an examiner for the company, so I may actually know your son or have been an examiner when he tested. I am 58 years old and been around horses my whole life.

@Janet Wilson I tested at Warwickshire several times. I was an examiner for about five years. 2010 to 2015, so we may definitely have cross paths. I hope he gets to feeling better.

My win is getting my students through another dangerously hot week without anyone having a heat stroke. Shoeing is a hot business, but with a bunch of people in a variety of environments, temperatures over 100F can be seriously dangerous.
