Man, your story really got to me. For the longest time I thought skill was the only thing that mattered, but I was honestly shocked when I got my first $500 gig after just two years of playing. And seeing you — 8 years on sax and already charging 3k+ for a 10-song set — that’s crazy inspiring. Makes me realize I should at least let myself believe I can do it too.
