My Stripe API key
Hi Nathan, I just want to double-check so I don’t do this incorrectly. My understanding is that for real-time payments, you do not want the test secret key, so Test mode should be turned off and Stripe should be in Live mode. I switched to Live mode, but I wasn’t able to access or copy a usable live secret key — it looks like it needs to be created or unlocked, and nothing is allowing me to copy it. Can you please confirm that I need a Live secret key (sk_live_…) for the lovable, right? Also what should I do to get a Secret Key in Stripe to make it available so I can copy it? Please help with this. Thank you!

try unlocking your api secret key in live mode maybe log out or log back in see if that works if not google how to get ou stripe api secret key after youve already opened it

Ai Credits
I feel like I’m so far behind the 8 ball - you guys may have covered this Saturday or possibly the training the week before - but does it get costly having to consistently up the AI credits for customers once the app is launched? I’m just curious if I should put a limit on usage or scrap and start over with an idea that won’t use AI as much.

it all depends on what your app does and how much your app uses AI inside... my new Metamomentum is costly for AI but still profitable... simply ask Lovable plan to go through your app and the usage and cost associated and to figure out the total cost per user and 1000 users using app and to figure out the right costs to make the app profitable or can you give me any suggestions? you always gotta figure out your costs and profits for anything you build online and own... that should always be priority....
