What happens when you get quiet enough to hear your own thoughts? ABSOLUTE F’NG MAGIC!! Currently I’m reading Catching the Big Fish during a layover in Līhue, Hawai’i. I actually took a master class by the late David Lynch last year and I loved the ideas so much, that I am happily reliving them today while working on my tan. The slower pace here on hawaii makes it easier to think, write, and find ideas. …..Great read for poets, songwriters, artists, and creatives. 🌺📖….. I also highly recommend the island of Kauai Honestly I feel blessed today. And I’m trying to make the most of it. anyway, here is a writing prompt to get your juices flowing.. In Catching the Big Fish, Lynch’s metaphor “The small fish swim near the surface.The big fish live deeper.” Is about ideas existing in a deeper field of consciousness. ——-The deeper you go into awareness, the bigger and more original the ideas you can catch. Your Prompt ✍️ If ideas are like fish, what big idea is swimming beneath the surface of your mind right now? Go deep. See what rises naturally.
