Need you artists’ opinions
I did a lot of beading while on vacation ( I know, rough eh 😉). Multiple patterns and styles I wanted to try. These two bracelets just don’t ‘click’ for me like other completed pieces. I need HONEST opinions from fellow artists. I can’t pin down what seems off and I need help!! I have no problem taking a piece apart to make it better, so please don’t spare the suggestions. Both are made to the pattern , just color variations and gem duo in place of kites. The patterns didn’t use transparent beads either.

I love the tila one. I probably would have added some aqua or pearl to the edges, but I like what you did better. The ginkos look like they are backlit? I think you need something more “solid” for the ginkos or emphasize the “stars” by making the diamonds and the ginkos between them the same color. Then use a contrast color for the perpendicular pairs of ginkos. Not sure if that makes sense.
Did some wire work today.
This is a Texas bluebonnet field done with peridot and tanzanite.

Finally finished!
I think I lost the pattern somewhere, and I experimented with some of the colors. The clasps will be rose gold flowers like the silver one in the pic.
Finally finished!

Those are cute. I'm thinking of doing something with ginkos or some of the other weird shapes I've been collecting. I have a bunch of patterns I haven't tried.

@Rachelle LeRoy There's an international beaders' week?
Is this you?
Since I finished my zigzag bracelet, I'm looking for another project. I'm looking at all of these beautiful free patterns - International Bead Week, Deb Roberti's around the Beading Table - and I just get so overwhelmed! I see a project I'd be interested in, then I think - "Do I have all of the beads I'm going to need, will colors I have look good together, am I going to have to order something? etc, etc. I just scroll through all of the projects, get overwhelmed and go watch TV! Is this why people like bead kits? All of the decision making is removed and the project shows up. You don't have to worry about not having a bead and you know exactly what it's going to look like with the beads provided. Not, gee, I don't have any red 4mm bicones, I wonder how it will look with orange ones?

@Linda Sortino Potomac has sales periodically. I recently got a kit for a 32” long necklace made from bicones for $20. I couldn’t have bought that many bicones for $20. But those deals are only good for one day.
Suggestions please
I saw these on Etsy and immediately bought one in silver and one in gold. https://www.etsy.com/listing/468563535/mermaid-toggle-clasp-rhinestone-tail?click_key=56d371abb3f47ba07f67fe6c27783ae023056d59%3A468563535&click_sum=6358a4fe&sr_prefetch=1&pf_from=shop_home&ref=shop_home_active_1&crt=1&sts=1 Gorgeous but... really big. 2" by 2" Too big for a bracelet - even for us plus size girls. So now I'm kind of at a loss what to do with them. I need ideas..... GO!

I do wire-wrapping and lapidary work that I sell (sort of) in my Etsy shop. Beads are an addiction!
