Fear Produces Poverty!
In Matthew 25, the parable of the talents illustrates how fear can hinder our growth and prosperity. The servant who received one talent said he hid it because he was afraid of his master and viewed him as a hard man. An incorrect view of God or of our circumstances can distort how we see our resources and abilities, leading us to play small or do nothing at all.
Instead of complaining, “I only have this,” choose gratitude:
“Father, thank You for what You’ve placed in my hands. Show me how to use it wisely and multiply it, in Jesus’ name, amen.”
