HELP!!!!! We have no water!!
Hey ladies! We're in a pickle at our house. Our well has stopped pumping water, and so currently we have no water in the house. We live in the country, so our neighbours aren't super close. I need ideas for meals I can make that don't take many dishes. I'm getting disposable stuff for eating. And I have parchment for lining pans to bake things. We've got water storage, and I'll boil that on the stove for drinking. But ideas for meals that don't need much prep and I can put in the oven on a sheet pan would be great! I put hot dogs in the oven for lunch 😆, and we've got stuff for sandwiches. And I'll probably do baked potatoes & chicken fingers for dinner. We don't know how long it'll take to fix it yet, and some things will get old fast! Thank you!! (signed a desperate mama)
🎉 Mompreneur Club goes LAX
Alright ladies! Here's the scoop. It turns out that teams that win the skool games do not get a +1 (which means that I cannot go to the skool games event as I was previously expecting). That also means that someone who will be there to hang out with skoolers in between official skool activities reached out to me and invited me to go out there to hang out with everyone in between official skool activities. So, I am highly considering it. Here's my thoughts: Everyone buys their own flights out there but plans on arriving around the same time so we can find each other in the airport (if you want group transport to save cash) We buy a big house on the beach in air bnb and split the cost everyone pays for their own food and events/what they want to do when out there Anybody want to make this happen? The Skool Games event is April 18th so it would be for that weekend. I would personally probably fly down the friday and come home on the Monday.

Mompreneur Club Trip Update
After reviewing everyone's input, we'll postpone the trip until 2027. In the fall, we'll start planning. It looks like next year we'll go on a trip to Ireland! Who wants to be added to the waitlist for serious consideration for this trip? Also, @Stephanie S i'll be reaching out to you in a couple months to start planning with you since you're our resident Irish lady who will help me make this happen!

Mompreneur Club Trip Update
🏖️ Mompreneur Club Trip
Okay, ladies! 👉 The time has come to FINALLY plan our Mompreneur Club trip for 2026. Here's the deal... I will only do this is we have enough women coming that it makes sense to plan this. 🚨 If there is not enough interest, then we'll postpone until 2027. So, answer the poll below SERIOUSLY if you actually would plan on attending. I am thinking either Ireland or Florida, US. 👉 So, please let me know in the poll if you'd attend this. The goal is for an event around end of August. Dates TBD. Probably a 3 day weekend type of deal. You would pay for your flights there and then cost of the event would cover all food and accomodations and events. This would put the cost of the event likely over $999. 👇 So, let me know if you're game

Our IRL Connections
Two years ago, at the beginning of November, my husband's mother passed away. She had been in a home for about 4 years, and with everything after Covid, we hadn't seen her for about 3 years, The restrictions for visitors in the home were very strict. They actually were just starting to relax it a little bit when my husband threw out his back. It took him almost a month to be able to handle the drive, and while he was recovering her health took a turn for the worst. We tried to get there in time to say goodbye, but she passed about half way through our drive. In the flurry of funeral planning and all the other things that come with someone passing, he didn't really get time to grieve. Last November was tough. When the anniversary of her passing came, the grief hit my hubby hard. And my father-in-law was getting remarried, so everyone was busy with wedding prep, and he felt very alone with that grief. We’ve been able to have good conversations with his family about that since, but it was a very hard month. His mum was a really big Beatles fan. She grew up in England in the '60s, but she never actually got to see them live. This week my sister-in-law & her husband treated me & my hubby with tickets to go with them to see Paul McCartney. It was huge. The biggest venue in Montreal, packed right to the rafters. But the thing that was the most special wasn't just that we got to go see a rock legend on his last world tour (he's 83) with 21,000 other people. It was the time that we got to spend together, with his sister remembering my mother-in-law. It was being able to connect around something that was such a big part of their childhood. It was being able to be there with him while he got to experience healing in such an unexpected way. To see him really feel connected to his mum, his sister and me like that. I’ve been so focused on building my community the last 3 months, it was really good to just take time to have some deep connection with him. What have you been able to do to connect in your most important relationships lately?
